KukkoroDays Free Download Unfitgirl Eroge visual novels don’t always put too much thought into the story’s overall plot. However, some developers wish to complete the experience for the player by incorporating a narrative that they can immerse themselves in. Well, that is before the h-scenes kick in, and then we can forget about all that character building junk. I feel this explains developer qureate’s fantasy visual novel KukkoroDays, which does its best to round out its characters, but that falls apart due to the flimsy story structure and weak character writing. KukkoroDays begins by introducing us to a nameless protagonist who is working hard to make ends meet. He recently set out on his own and moved into an apartment where he spends his nights reading light novels. One night, a portal opens in his room, and a female Knight appears injured on his bed. After a while, you finally get some answers and realize that her name is Cattleya, and she is from another world. During a fight with a mighty dragon, the creature used a unique ability that sent her to another dimension. Without much more story building, the two have a few days to send her back. The story itself is paced incredibly fast. The two jump into gear to look for a way for Cattleya to get home, and coincidentally, she has the power to sense magical items. It’s just one thing after another, though, and the story is simply structured on a “We got this, but now we must do this,” which doesn’t really do much to keep the reader invested. Given that the pace of the story is fast, you can bet the relationship between these two characters grows just as quickly. Cattleya is pretty easy to figure out as she only cares about nobility and courage. The little things that the main protagonist does seem to catch her, especially after a random incident involving a car that nearly hit some people. Interestingly, there are some adorable date scenes as Cattleya is taken to the zoo and the arcade. Her curiosity is a good parallel to her usual cold demeanor, which makes it easy to find the entire scenario cute. The writers really tried to sell the idea that the main protagonist is pinching pennies. He’s almost always bringing up how he doesn’t have money and how hard it’s going to be for him to pay rent. Yet, he’ll pay for items that Cattleya needs because she doesn’t have money. I don’t know, maybe this idea just hits so close to home, but the whole time I was thinking, “Dude, you’re going to be homeless for this sexy Knight?” The story just continually panders to the idea that if you help a girl enough monetarily or emotionally, she might sleep with you. Well, in this case, she does, but that’s not the point!

Nice Character design

The character animations during the story are exceptionally well done, especially for a budget visual novel such as this. Even though Cattleya is the only on-screen character, I didn’t seem to mind since she does such a great job at owning each of the scenes. Her reactions and sense of duty make her a hilarious heroine, and each of the animations expressed those different sides of her. Sadly, the CGs are not animated, but they are still well made. There are a few all-ages CGs to be found, but the game’s best work might just be the h-scenes. I think I just really like the quality work that qureate pulls off with their character designs and how they don’t seem to hold back with their lewd imagery. The story will take you a little over 5 hours to complete, with a few different endings available based on the choices that you make. However, the options only impact the conclusion and not the h-scenes, so whatever you chose, you’ll still sleep with her regardless. It’s not tough to figure out how to get the true ending, but you’re going to want to for the sake of the extra scenes.KukkoroDays is an incredibly average story that puts in a little bit of effort not just to be an ecchi visual novel. However, it’d be tough to catch that thanks to the game’s incredibly fast pacing. If you’re here for the qureate illustrations, then this is some of the best work they’ve put out, but the rest of the game will have you wishing that their storytelling was as good as their artwork. I never would have expected an ecchi visual novel to leave a lasting impact on me, but TroubleDays somehow found a way to worm its way into my mind and take up residence. It wasn’t necessarily for its dirtiness, though it is, at the very least, adjacent to my interests. Rather, it was because it was just a cute romance. It surprised me, as I went in expecting smut, and came away with a perfectly enjoyable love story. Also, smut. There was some smut. To my surprise, it wasn’t even a month later that another visual novel, published by the same company and written by the same author would land. Here I had been mulling over picking up its predecessor, NinNinDays, when I was already being presented with a follow-up. KukkoroDays is a wholly different story from TroubleDays, and before you ask, I don’t know what kukkoro is supposed to mean. I’ve looked it up, but haven’t found a satisfying definition. I think it has something to do with the female protagonist’s catchphrase of “korose” or “kill me,” possibly a portmanteau with another word. I’m not sure. I’m not that proficient in Japanese. Anyways, what I mean by “wholly different” is that it’s not a continuation of Troubledays’ storyline. Where that was the story about a succubus that one day shows up in the bed of a romantic loner, KukkoroDays is the story about a lady knight that one day shows up in the bed of a romantic loner.

So, it’s the same set up. It’s the same fish-out-of-water love story, but the role of the romantic interest is different. Hell, both games also heavily feature Akihabara, Tokyo’s electronic district. Some of the backgrounds are practically identical. I was getting severe deja vu off the hop. I was actually concerned that I was being faced with the same story beats, and while that didn’t turn out to be entirely untrue, the role of the romantic interest has a severe impact on the flavour of the game. Lovelia, the succubus from TroubleDays was a slight woman whose mind and, indeed her profession, largely revolved around sex. Cattleya, our lady knight in question, is, on the other hand, an elegant knight obsessed with honour. Yes, this has a severe effect on how many sexual references are dropped, and no, I don’t know how to pronounce either of those names. Cattleya was locked in battle with a tyrannical dragon in the moments before she’s transported to our world. Her wounds are treated by the protagonist who also takes the time to make sure she’s bound and gagged in a compromising position, the lucky girl. I said there were fewer sexual references, I didn’t say you weren’t in for a copious amount of panty shots. Grand Theft Auto IV GTA

Indeed Cattleya is devoted to her knighthood and considers her womanhood all but forfeit in the pursuit of honour. Oh, gosh, it’s a romance, so you know she’s going to fall for bland male protagonist du jour, but how will she get over her duty? What happens when she needs to return to her own world? The story about average in quality. The main heroine had basically all the typical traits of a stereotypical Japanese fantasy female knight. You know, having thrown away her “womanhood” while still wearing a skimpy ass outfit, being only good at fighting to the point that she’s basically useless in any other tasks, has no basic common sense whenever comedy or attempts at endearment demands it. That sort of thing. Like all anime female knight types, she secretly likes cute things and thinks that people will make fun of her for it.
Asides from that, the story’s pretty incoherent. Like you start off being told that Cattelya passed out from bloodloss, but the way her wound is described, it doesn’t make sense how that’s the case. As the story progresses, there’s a lot of potential setups, but very little or plain disappointing delivery. Just repeat misfires of Chekhov’s Gun. Like we find out the dude used to do kendo. Doesn’t actually use kendo for anything in the story. And every time he tries to do something, she basically goes like “Naw, I got it. Thanks for the thought though.” Dude finds out he’s descended from a mage. He… grabs onto her waist while she’s running around the battlefield.

Good idle animations for talking scenes

You know, to act like her magic battery. I’m not even sure how I’m supposed to picture that would look. Like god damn, our MC is pathetic as fuck. If we’re getting a generic story anyways, at least make him somewhat useful. I picked most of the same choices as everyone else. The couple of things I didn’t pick didn’t seem to affect my ability to reach the same ending. You don’t get a whole lot of dialogue choices and the choices pretty much break down to “be an asshole” vs “don’t be an asshole”, as if people are going to choose to be an asshole for any reasons than curiosity. I feel like the smarter thing to do would have been to give the protagonist multiple ways to achieve the same result. Like instead of choosing whether to protect her, they should have chosen how you wanted to protect her. Art: 3 Stars The art’s pretty, I’ll give it that. They obviously spent a lot of their budget giving her an idle animation, so I can forgive having not a whole lot of art to look at. But there’s a moments of mismatch between dialogue and visuals. Like in the arcade scene, the protagonist mentions the claw machines costing like 1000 yen, but the signs clearly say 100 yen on every single claw machine. Like was it too much trouble to go back and add an extra zero? Or like in the zoo, she mentions feeding the rabbits chopped carrots, but there’s no carrot in sight and it looks like one of the rabbits is eating celery. Why not just say she’s feeding them celery?

Sometimes the scenes also zoom in on visuals that don’t really make sense. Like I get that additional art is expensive, but I’d prefer to have a still scene than to have an incoherent closeup. Also, from the scene where her armor was removed, it looked like her shirt covered more cleavage than her armor, but seemed to form a gaping hole once she wore armor. They could have passed it off as magic or some other nonsense, but naw, they just left the contradictions as is. I also found the sound effects to be really annoying, especially during the climactic showdown. The story was already bland and predictable as it was. With the half-second intervals of screeching, I just wanted to click through the scene as quickly as possible. Fortunately, the sound effects stop when you open the text log, so you can just click through a few lines and re-read them without having to turn off sound effects completely. Girl House [Astaros3D]

The story is very hard to get into as the first 25min of the game is very cringe(It was kind of hard for me to continue reading) and basically every anime troupe or overreaction which you would expect from a bad anime or manga. The whole story is bad except the bed talk after the zoo sequence and the 2 endings (bad ending and good ending 1#), the bad ending’s story actually seems to get better in quality then it just gets cucked by yours truly the **title screen**. The options does nothing for the story and also doesn’t give you any new scenes or diverge the story away from the main timeline, but the biggest problem is that it locks you away from getting any good ending(penetrative H scene). Some of the options which do lock the endings actually seem interesting and you would expect a decent divergence in the story but no.(this is the biggest killer for the game for me) I liked the idle animations but that actually built up my expectations for the H scene. Sadly I was disappointed when it came to the H scene as it was not animated nor did it have a satisfying H expression. However it was nice to look at whilst reading the bad story.
