As the only one left with full senses, you embark on a journey in search of answers and relief in this FPS game that is created in a distinctive retro horror comic book style and feels as if it came straight out of Lovecraft’s books. Going into Forgive Me Father for the review, I found the story was a pleasant surprise. Testing out the early access it seemed like it would take a back seat to the gameplay. However, there is a lot more to the story in the full version. Scattered throughout the levels are clues that will shed light on what is happening.
