With the release of Pokémon Scarlet Switch NSP Free Download Unfitgirl and Violet later this month, we now have a nice new overview trailer for the game. Albeit a trailer in Japanese. Showing off the new Paldea region, the trailer (shown below) also covers the two new Legendary Pokémon that you can ride; namely that of Koraidon for Pokémon Scarlet and Miraidon for Pokémon Violet. Paldea also seems to be loosely inspired by the Iberian Peninsula, which is an interesting choice. The reason for these rideable Pokémon is that the Paldea region is massive and open for exploration. In short, this is another full-blown open world Pokémon game. We also get to see the starter Pokémon of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly, with each of them obviously being rather adorable. In addition to that, it also touches on the Terastal Phenomenon, which is unique to the Paldea region. This gives Pokémon a crystalline appearance and changes them to “Tera Type”, unlocking special moves in the process. Finally, the Joy-Con controllers themselves come in red and purple (or rather, Scarlet and Violet), and feature subtle engravings inspired by the Naraja and Uva academies you’ll encounter in your journeys. Game Freak are a talented developer, but they have historically been used to making compact handheld games. Shifting to massive open world games has clearly been a strain and it seems that they still have a long way to go if Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are any indication. I am sure Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will play wonderfully and the designs do look great, but considering how important Pokémon is, I would have though Nintendo would help them out a bit in terms of the game’s development. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be released for the Switch on November 18. Two years ago John Schnatter fancied himself untouchable. He was CEO of Papa John’s, the nationwide pizza chain he founded, and served as its ubiquitous TV pitchman. The business had grown to 5,000 stores and $1.7 billion in revenue, and his fortune tallied some $950 million. “We see news story after news story of CEOs who run companies into the ground,” Schnatter scoffed in his 2016 autobiography, which chronicled the business’ rise.

Then Schnatter began to do exactly that. The world already knows of his two biggest flare-ups. Then, in July, while reporting this story, Forbes learned that Schnatter had used the N-word and made other controversial remarks on a conference call two months prior. On July 11, the day that news broke, he resigned as chairman. But the problems run far deeper. Based on interviews with 37 current and former Papa John’s employees—including numerous executives and board members—Schnatter’s alleged behavior ranges from spying on his workers to sexually inappropriate conduct, which has resulted in at least two confidential settlements.  This is undoubtably, in my opinion, the best special edition the Nintendo Switch has gained. A very close competitor would be the Splatoon 3 Special Edition Switch, but as a Pokémon fan you cannot go wrong with this. I think they pulled it off very well without it looking too messy or confusing. The colours for the Joycons are great and the school emblems really add a subtle flair to them without them being too over the top and flashy. But the dock is the best part of it, although it’s glossy, the depictions of the Legendaries and the very nice poke all motif at the back just makes it look outstanding. If you love Pokémon and looking to upgrade to a Switch OLED, buy this one, just be careful of the scalpers out there charging you over $400 for it, definitely not worth that much better you get a regular Switch OLED and buy skins or decals to decorate it, or have a Custom Nintendo Switch OLED made for you as seen on Austin John Plays YouTube video unboxing this amazing looking switch. Thankfully the designs of the new limited edition OLED Nintendo Switches are more fun than the standard Switches. The colors on the back of the new Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Switch really pop! The You definitely notice a substantial improvement with the new OLED screen. It’s much larger and the blacks and colors on screen are more vibrant. The physical Switch is the same size so you don’t need to replace your carry case if you already have one.

But they do make specific screen protectors for the OLED model. The kick stand also got a major design overhaul. Way better viewing angles and rock solid. The OLED Switch definitely feels heavier and more solid. The white Pokemon Scarlet/Violet dock also looks stunning. Pictures don’t do it justice. It has a glossy sheen and a pattern running through that’s gorgeous. The Joycons also have a fun design on the back. Kinda wish that design carried through on the front of the Joycons. Locally this limited Pokemon OLED Switch sold out in stores within a day. But thankfully Amazon still had some. I think overall this is the nicest looking Switch that’s been made so far! Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are the official names of the ‘Generation IX’ Pokemon video games, which are set in the new Spain-inspired Paldea region. They’re described as open world adventures where ‘various towns with no borders blend seamlessly into the wilderness’. As in other games, you’ll play as a Pokemon trainer going up against a number of fighters – including the forces of the villainous Team Star. Your friendly rival and ally for these games appears to be Nemona, a woman with black and green hair. She has a Pawmi for a companion. You’ll also be helped by Mr Clavell, the director of the academy you attend in the game, Mr Jacq, your home room teacher, and classmates Arven, a good cook, and Penny, who is extremely shy. Your main task in the game will be to tackle eight gym challenges, defeating each leader in turn. This time around, the twist is you’ll be able to explore freely and take on each gym in whatever order you like. It appears there’ll also be other story elements to explore, with a recent Pokemon Presents describing two stories that can be unfolded as you wish. Trailers for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have revealed a number of differences between the two titles. The most obvious is in colour palette and theming: trainers in Scarlet will wear red, and trainers in Violet will wear purple.

This extends to the Pokemon Professors in each game. Rather than having the same Pokemon Professor to lead players, Scarlet and Violet introduce new faces to the mix. The Scarlet Pokemon Professor is Sada – a dusty blonde woman who wears an outfit inspired by generic caveman chic. She wears a bone necklace, has a ruffled collar, and wears a ragged, tan two-piece outfit. While her Pokemon companions have not been revealed, it would be fair to assume she’s a Mandibuzz main. The Violet Pokemon Professor is Turo – a bearded, brown-haired man with a trendy faded buzzcut. He wears a futuristic purple outfit that appears to light up with neon tubing. It’s unclear what his Pokemon companion would be, but his look closely resembles the Legendary Pokemon of Violet. The clear difference between the titles appears to be that Scarlet is inspired by the past, while Violet is inspired by the future. This also aligns with the naming conventions of each Professor – ‘future’ in Spanish is ‘futuro‘, while ‘past’ in Spanish is ‘pasada‘.

The Legendary Pokemon for Scarlet is Koraidon, a towering, lizard-like creature that rocks a feathered headdress and a tyre-like body. Its name means ‘ancient’ or ‘past’ in Japanese. The Legendary Pokemon for Violet is Miraidon, a towering, lizard-like creature that has jet engines for legs and a neon, vaporware-like aesthetic that suggests it’s a more futuristic, tech-inspired beast. Its name means ‘future’ in Japanese. The differences between the creatures suggest the games may take place on different timelines – or that the time travel introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a role to play in the events of these games. Both Pokemon are fully rideable, and can traverse land, sea and sky. It appears they’ll be available to players early on in the adventure.

The first Pokemon Scarlet/Violet trailer launched on Pokemon Day – and while many expected the celebratory Pokemon Presents showcase to deliver news on existing titles like Pokemon Legends: Arceus, a whole new game was a major surprise. The early trailer is an eye-popping glimpse at the world of Gen 9, and features a medieval style castle and accompanying town, sweeping mountains, an idyllic shore, and plenty of good-looking Pokemon models.
