Yuoni Switch NSP Free Download Unfitgirl Not since elementary school have I felt so safe just staring down at my desk. “Keep your head down and your nose clean.” Weren’t those the words of wisdom touted by our fathers and forefathers? Turns out, no matter how much you keep your head down, or how much you scrub your nose… you are not going to be overlooked by the Tsun. Not in Yuoni: Rises. This visual novel experience simply sits you down in a Japanese classroom at a time that is neither day or night: perhaps dusk, twilight, the witching hour. Whatever you call it, you are plunked down in this desk, and begin reading and looking through the sketchbook that sits atop it. This sketchbook will take you through a chilling, atmospheric story about a small group of young Japanese children experiencing a few run-ins with some urban legends. I lived in Japan for a few years, and I can say with all honesty that the country has that really-old, probably-haunted, feel. Don’t get me wrong, I never felt unsafe, ever, while I lived there (not that kind of unsafe you might feel walking around the backstreets of a big city). Rather, I would just sometimes have this feeling of peaceful-uneasiness. Their ghost stories and urban legends are old, and usually pretty darn creepy. Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

Yuoni: Rises lets you live that urban legend run-in you may have always wanted to have, succeeding as this game is creepy. First of all, it’s worth noting that this game was originally made for VR. So how this translates on the Switch is that – in handheld mode – you can swivel your Switch around and that allows you to look around the classroom. In terms of controls, press A to move the text forward, hold A to see the previous page and hold both Z triggers and A to return to the main menu; that’s it. So there won’t be any using the joystick to move your character around. You are glued to that little desk chair and all you can do is read on, further into this spooky story of madness, and if you’re brave you can also swivel your Switch about to look around. I was not brave. When you are looking at your desk, your Switch kind of “locks” on to it. So minute movements aren’t going to take you out of the sketchbook. You have to make a pretty big, bold movement to lift your head from your desk. UNLESS… AHH! Something spooky happening! There are certain parts in the story where all of a sudden the game FORCES your face out of the safety of your desk! “WHYFORE?!” I cried, uselessly.

If only there were another way

I found myself scrambling around being like, “NO NO, let me look back down again where it’s safe!” But something terrifying always, inevitably, happens. Creepy little outlines of children will run around, hands will try to grab you… I think it’s a very nice, slow-burn, kind of scare. To explain that better: the story is slow and introduces your characters and setting, and then things slowly start getting really weird… Then BAM! A spooky thing happens. All in all, it is a visual novel. The story is chilling, and the little extra spice of the faux VR aspects happening around you is a nice touch. If you like scary stories, reading them, and Japanese urban legends, then consider this one for your library. And if you can’t get away in time, prepare to suffer a dire fate at the hands of unimaginable forces. But it turns out that the ghostly apparitions trapped in the world of dusk aren’t the only things she has to contend with; ghosts can be cruel, but children even more so.

Hide or die

Its sound design is at the forefront of its jump scares, which is the crux of the most heart-racing moments. Still, repetitive level design, confusing direction, and limited exploration elements dampen the overall experience. “Yuoni: Rises” is a visual novel game where players sit at a desk and relive the characters’ experiences while progressing through the story. The story is set in mid-90s Japan when the Internet was still not widely used and cell phones were owned by a select few adults. It follows the experiences of two elementary school children troubled by family matters. Flip through the pages by pressing the buttons and experience for yourself the children’s fear and anguish in this realistic world. Find out who the sketchbook belongs to, and whose eyes you are looking through. Solve the mystery in the classroom where you are trapped in the Evening. In a countryside town, lives a fifth-grader named Shuji. Due to “grown-up stuff”, he constantly has to move house. Slowly, he learns hard lessons about friendships and how fragile they can be, and grows distrustful. “Ever heard of the Tsun?” One day, Shuji learns of a school ghost story from Goto, who is the boss of the kids around the area. Because of the story’s absurdity, Nami dismisses it as a silly rumor. Shuji doesn’t take it seriously either, until.. Knockout City Switch NSP

There’s a rumor that if you can gather a doll without being seen and return it to a bucket of water, Yuoni will ask to play a game with you. While not many believe it to be true, our young protagonist named AI steps up to the plate and, sadly, the next day was invited to play the game of Yuoni. The narrative plays out between stages, but it never overstays its welcome. Interestingly, it dives into the lore heavily at certain moments as that nightmare becomes a reality for Ai. She deals with events the best way she can, but stranger things find their way into her world and overwhelm her mental state. It’s an interesting way to tell a story, but the stages also include short spots of narrative that give you an idea of the spirit you are facing off against. Most of the in-game spirits have somehow affected children, and that tone is true throughout. Each day is a different maze-like map that grows increasingly difficult, but the core structure is the same for each level. Once the level begins, you’re tasked with heading out, finding a doll, and make your way back to the beginning as quickly as possible. It’s easy in concept, but getting to the doll requires slow movement throw the halls of a school, which makes you forget exactly how you got to it in the first place.

Yuoni knows how to scare you

This is kind of where the running back becomes difficult because you’re being chased and expected to recall hot to get back to the beginning of the map. Further, I think every stage is made up of the same assets, makes them blend and causes some confusion when navigating the levels. This is also an inherent problem because the stages look like every stage should be explored, but there’s nothing to find outside of some keys. Sadly, doors are typically just locked, and there’s nothing that says “Find a Key,” so you should be adept at progressing through games with minimal handholding. Luckily, you aren’t on a time-limited when trying to find the doll, but enemies are scattered about that hinder advancement. Enemies come in a variety of different types, and they should all be avoided. Some enemies have limited sight or enhanced hearing, but they each have their strengths as well. The best way to ensure you don’t get caught is to crouch and hold your breath when they’re near or hide under a bed or in a locker. Strangely, some hiding places don’t have a way to see if the enemies have passed, such as a cupboard, but that’s where the sound design comes in handy. Once you retrieve the doll, you must run back as you’re chased by a strange eye creature yelling at you. KovaaK 2.0

It’s a fun experience but can get old in concept. Even with its minimalist design, the developer does their best to offer some unique scares. However, all of these are typically jump scares that constantly startled me. I know many may get tired of this type of horror, but given that this is a 4-hour game, I don’t feel like it overstayed its welcome. In fact, I applaud what the developers were able to do with what they had, but I would have appreciated different settings. I couldn’t help but want more reason to explore or more items to interact with, even if it’s just added lore about the spirits that I’m avoiding. Further, the maze-like stages can often lead you in the wrong direction, which causes getting caught by the same enemy while you’re simply trying to find your way through. Thankfully, checkpoints are numerous. Still, the added scares of each level had me believe that the developers were trying new things. They didn’t continuously re-use elements outside of the flash of white story sections during a stage. Regardless, I jumped and screamed way too many times to count.Yuoni doesn’t break new grounds in the first-person horror genre, but it offers an interesting premise of folklore that will definitely have you engaged for its short runtime.

It does have some very random jump scares (Flashing white light with quick narrative about whats going on in the story) I feel like it can be scary at some points but once you get used to the environment, you calm down a bit. The Monsters/Ghosts design are fairly simple so once you come across them a few times you get to know their mechanics and can avoid them quite easily I’d say. They do give you a good chase which does get the adrenaline going. The way the story was displayed felt like I was reading a script at times. A picture to go with what the characters were saying would have been good to put a face to the character/text. It doesn’t break any records or do anything too innovative but the game was easy to understand and had fun in the time I played it. Absolutely loved this game! Great narrative and it was not what I expected at all in the best way! Thought it was going to be just a bunch of hide and seek but I really enjoyed the story along with it. I don’t usually enjoy stealth games because I just don’t have the patience but this one I would highly recommend! Great jump scares in this one as well! A+
