Yandere Simulator Free Download Unfitgirl Yandere Simulator is a game that frequently comes up in gaming circles as a punchline. However, unlike jokey simulator games like Goat Simulator, Yandere Simulator is a serious game that nobody respects or takes seriously. In fact, calling it a game is somewhat of a stretch, as it is only this month that the developer has gotten around to finishing up the first main enemy to take on in the game. Of course, you might be one of those casual gamers that has no idea what this game’s deal is, so here’s a real quick read to summarize the important things about this game. Yandere Simulator is a game made by a developer going by YandereDev, where you play as an anime yandere girl who aims to get rid of all the girls in the way of her crush. On paper, it may seem like a neat concept, being a stealth psychological horror game where you are the horror. However, keep in mind that this game has been in development since 2014. There’s nothing wrong with long development times, but there’s so much to dig into with this game that the long development is something that deserves scrutiny. Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

The game was pitched by the developer to 4chan users, who responded to the idea positively and offered their own ideas. With that, the game started to take shape. Again, on the surface, things seem fine. YandereDev seems open about development, releasing public test builds on a regular basis. Youtubers like Markiplier ate the game up, contributing to the game’s rise. However, as the game’s popularity rose, so did the amount of stuff in the game. Yandere Simulator suffers from horrible feature creep. Throughout the past few years, YandereDev’s been piling in features and tidbits that are far beyond his scope, seeing as the game is mostly made by himself (more on that later). One can plainly see the problem by looking at the development log for the game. A lot of the early stuff is reasonable things, like adding teachers and implementing school schedules, because that stuff makes sense for the setting and helps form the game’s backbone. However, things just expanded further from there from adding the ability to kidnap characters to adding school clubs with their own distinct characters and functions. The most condemning thing about this is Osana. Yandere Simulator has a set of rival characters who have their own crushes on the main character’s crush, making them the “bosses” of the game. Osana is the first of them and is essentially the “tutorial boss” of Yandere Simulator, originally added to the game in November of 2014. Osana literally entered the end of her development at the start of this year, according to the developer’s own devblog. To have the first main threat of the game enter the final stages of development at least 5 years later really speaks to the lack of focus in the game.

About Yandere Simulator

One issue with feature creep is that besides creating more things to handle, it opens the way for more bugs. New mechanics can not only have glitches in themselves, but they can also have issues with pre-existing things in the game, passing glitches on to that stuff. In this unreasonable push for more, Yandere Simulator just becomes buggier and the finish line becomes ever distant. Surely, Yandere Simulator‘s development would get along with the help of others, right? Well, the problem is, YandereDev is known for being unable to take criticism or work with others. Most infamously, there was a brief period in time where tinyBuild took the game under its wing in 2017. However, YandereDev had trouble working with a programmer from tinyBuild and the partnership ended in December of that year, rejecting the chance for the game to properly get things done. What makes it insane is that YandereDev’s own coding practices (show above) are horribly inefficient. Granted, you can still make quality games with poor coding; Terry Cavanagh, creator of VVVVVV, recently released the source code to his game, showing off that the famous indie platformer was built on its own impractical coding. However, to drop somebody that’s likely way more experienced for the sake of impractical coding is just insane. Dead Space

YandereDev tends to be criticized for not being a hard worker for somebody that rakes in thousands of dollars in Patreon money a month. One frequent criticism is that he sometimes spends hours doing livestreams. In fact, checking into his Twitch channel, he’s recently been doing livestreams of the recently released Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which seems kinda counter-intuitive to being in the final stretch of development for what’s supposed to be a big milestone. Speaking of livestreams, YandereDev’s personality is… abrasive, at best. There are many recorded instances of him threatening viewers on his livestreams, such as here, for one thing. He frequently blocks people that are negative toward him, and, for a time, the comments on his YouTube videos were blocked due to people criticizing him for not focusing on Osana and for his silence on his collapsed partnership with tinyBuild. His previously public Discord also booted anyone that criticized him or made fun of him. Sadly, they were also booted just for making him angry over whatever. This ultimately culminated in people speedrunning themselves getting kicked out of his server and him closing off his Discord to non-Twitch subscribers. Additionally, he’s also a bit of a creep. Besides some questionable content in Yandere Simulator like a focus on panties for high school girls, he’s also openly shown that he’s a bit of a freak. The screenshot above shows an apparent interaction on his Discord server, which is… strange. While he claims that it’s a joke, another Twitter user pointed out that according to his own poll, a sizable chunk of his audience is underage, which makes it a pretty bad joke to expose them to.

Gameplay

There are plenty of round-ups on Yandere Simulator and YandereDev that you can find around the place. However, part of why I chose to write my own is that some of those round-ups come from bad places or delve too much into his past. I tried to avoid talking about his past here because I won’t berate a scummy teen too much for being a scummy teen. Instead, I focus on the now, where he is a scummy adult making more than most people I know a month to make a game that doesn’t look like it will finish anytime soon. The game is terrible, and what’s ironic is that it isn’t even a game yet. Six years, and this is what we get? First of all, the gameplay is unrealistic: The rival’s “bodyguard” is supposed to be her friend, but friends don’t walk behind each other and stay by their sides 24/7. Also, if this is the supposedly easiest rival, why can’t we kill her if there’s going to be an invincible mary-sue by her side at all times? If we’re supposed to be “creative” with the game, why does there need to be a specific way to kill her? Also, why do students walk in conga lines? Why is the game allowing the audience to take lude photos of underaged girls panties? I know it’s a choice, but it’s still pretty questionable why it’s even an option in the first place. Seems pretty pedophilic to me, and I don’t care if the legal age of consent in Japan is 13. It’s still really weird. Also, the girl isn’t even a yandere. Yanderes are supposed to be these nice, cute, innocent people that are secretly psychotic on the inside. Ayano has no personality. Plus, the gameplay acts like the audience watches all of Yandere Dev’s videos on how to play the game. Let’s say a person who has never heard of Yandere Dev’s youtube channel plays the game. They won’t know what to do and how to eliminate Osana, even if they stalk her. And it says that at the beginning of the game, all characters are 18+ and over. Then why isn’t it set in a college? Why are they in high school? And finally, my game was so buggy that I couldn’t even play the game well. The code is terrible to even look at. Please fix it. 0 stars, wouldn’t recommend. You know, I wouldn’t be here right now. I could be reading, drawing, watching YouTube, finishing Season 9 of My Little Pony! Alas… I got word of this demo dropping, proceeded to waste ten minutes of my life on it, and I am currently high-key losing my shit! Did you know today is Audie’s birthday. I could be with her on my island instead but NOPE! The universe had other plans for me. DISCLAIMER: I am very well aware of the controversies and unsavory actions of YandereDev. I admit that I no longer look forward to the final Yandere Simulator project as I once did six year ago. I also admit that I have a well trained eye on the Love Letter project and am currently looking forward to its demo. HOWEVER! In this article and future ones on YanSim and Love Letter, I will be ignoring all past and current controversies for both projects. I want to look at these games as games. In their own right, as their own entity. If you want information on both projects and/or the controversies around them, check your friendly neighborhood YouTube channel for more information. After 6 years of waiting, promises, and delays, the first official demo for Yandere Simulator has arrived. I admit, I didn’t see this coming. We now have the first fully playable week of the game and a rival to eliminate.

NO EVIDENCE

I’m sure many readers won’t be surprised to hear that the Yandere Simulator Demo is awful upon release. Context for those unaware of this project and its creator: I must disclose that YandereDev is not a trusted developer. He has made many claims and, quite possibly, excuses towards why it’s taken so long to drop this demo work on the game in general. His mental health is important! He should take his time with his work and respect the volunteers and publisher who wanted to help! Fans have also funded the project through Patreon, there has yet to be a Kickstarter. Over time, TinyBuild has dropped him, volunteers have left him, and he’s lost fan support. The demo was promised to come out when Osana, the first rival, was complete. Osana took two full years to be coded and added into the game. While the wait for Osana was ongoing, YanDev added new gameplay such as clubs, jobs, characters, and more. In the early days of the project, YanDev stated the full game had the possibility to be released around this very year, if not sooner, with the support he has since lost due to his actions.

Upon loading the demo I wanted to see all of what YanDev had promised. I wanted to take a look around my room, town, and school on day one of the game and note how interactions and activities were unlocked as you progressed. I wanted some meat! Something that proved that there was much to do in the demo. Giving you a sliver of what’s to come in the final game. So, why did I quit this demo after ten minutes and how did it make me literally sick? Four words… The. Controls. Are. AWFUL! But wait, there’s more… The demo is buggy as shit. Some of the keyboard controls downright don’t work. Playing with a controller makes the game borderline unplayable. And the camera. Dear god the camera… Without a good graphics card you may not make it to the title screen or be presented with a UI floating through the black screen of death. I found playing the game in fullscreen fixed this but I dreaded playing even more as I knew exiting the demo would be a bitch! The frame rate, walking, and even the running is slower than a Karen in her mid 30’s actually growing up. The controls, gameplay, and character animation is heavy and stiff! Dead or Alive 6

What gets under my skin the most is how the controls don’t work. Don’t bother looking at the map of the keyboard controls provided on the website. ESC doesn’t exit you from the game and Space won’t open the map half the time. And don’t get me started on how the phone works faster than the running. Or how the music randomly cuts out in the menu. At least the loading doesn’t take forever but I came close to the game crashing on the loading screen. Or how my computer sounds like it’s working overtime to run this damn game. The first place I wanted to visit was the town. A narrow street with just as stiff and slow moving characters who also bug out as you walk by them. There’s already nothing to do there on the first day, however the street is lifeless and boring. I suppose adding more characters would’ve made this area run slower than the game already is. But the shops blend together due to lack of color and personality. And upon trying to leave, to my horror, I couldn’t. With the lack of a simple, keyboard, escape button, I had to completely close the demo and start again. Next, I went to the school, which is just as dull and lifeless as the town. Even with the added bonus of having over 80 characters to interact with. After listening to the dialogue I remembered this game had a camera and grabbed my mouse. This, my friends, was where I truly fucked up. Some context: Recently, my eyes have gone to shit. I currently suffer from light sensitivity and despite my glasses having a computer lens on them, it doesn’t prevent computer usage being the worst offender when it comes to straining my eyes. That and the sun. I am convinced I’m a vampire, time to fuck up the Jostar bloodline for six generations.
