Wings of Bluestar Switch NSP Free Download Unfitgirl Eastasiasoft continue to supports porting a variety of shoot em ups, bringing cheaper arcade games to new audiences. Some work better than others but Wings of Bluestar is one of the best ones yet, providing multiple ways to play its decent game mechanics. My recommendation comes with a massive caveat, which I’ll get to but the game is a joy to play when it firing on all cylinders. Wings of Bluestar has two characters with their own ships and way of playing. Zarak has a ship with a main gun and the ability to add two additional lasers onto your ship. These fire heavy damage directly ahead and whilst the main gun can be upgraded to add more bullets and a wider spread, Zarak is all about attacking. Aya doesn’t have lasers. Instead she has rotatable additional guns which means you have less power but 16 directional coverage. You can shoot behind, above and below whilst Zarak needs to be quickly moved into position. Aya also comes with a shield that can take damage from bullets hitting her face on. They both offer very distinctive playstyles. On easy mode Zarak is better as he just mows everything down. Medium, hard and hardest modes saw me gravitate to Aya though because many levels have descents and I wanted to shoot below me. The game comes with 8 levels full of different enemies and some lovely background animations. It feels like you are in an anime at times and the mechanoid art direction of everything is chunky but consistent. Bosses are much more bullet hell (again, points for Aya) and this is where your special weapon can be helpful to for smashing through bullets, turning them into points. Bosses have patterns and whilst they aren’t the biggest challenges out there, do switch things up a bit.Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

Game overs will come often though as you start with 3 lives and 3 credits. This can be expanded in the shop where risk stars that you collect in game as currency can be spent for additional credits. I was completing the game at 8 credits but it felt like you could go beyond that. Also unlockable were boss rush mode, a sound test mode and a whole behind the scenes art gallery. There is a lot of love that’s gone into Wings of Bluestar and whilst I didn’t test the 2 player mode personally, the fact there is a mode is great too. With my PS4 and PS5 versions there is a rather huge bug though. When you first play the game, everything is fine but whenever you die and start a new game, Wings of Bluestar cannot cope. It suddenly slows into a Matrix slow motion as if the game is confused and the entire game runs at less than half speed. Your movements, the bullets, the enemies – everything. It’s all in the slow motion. I thought I’d knocked a setting or something and in the end rebooted the game and it was fine until I died, started a new game and the same thing happened. This issue affects both PS4 and PS5 versions and renders it not unplayable but certainly not as intended. What is even more odd is that from stage 4 onwards, the game magically wakes up again and reverts back to normal speed. Until this is fixed I recommend closing down the game after every single run but its mighty annoying and needs a patch. It is a shame that the technical issues cause such a dramatic effect as if that can be fixed there is a decent shoot em up here ready to be recommended. 8 stages, 4 difficulties, co-op, arcade and story mode (with some awful translation to be fair) are all here with unlockables to find.

Wings Of Bluestar Single and local two players.

It’ll keep you going for a good few hours. Fans of R-Type will enjoy this R-Type lite. It just needs that patch. Devoted shoot-em’-up fans will undoubtedly recognize Wings of Bluestar’s multitude of inspirations. Take flight across the game’s eight horizontally and occasionally vertically scrolling stages with Aya and you’ll soon gain a shield that resembles R-Type’s Force. When mounted on the front of your ship, the orb can absorb enemy shots, carving an opening in the walls of projectiles emitted by bosses. But should you find yourself surrounded by enemies and need additional firepower, the shield can be propelled forward, resulting in a powerful blast that can destroy almost anything caught in its path. Since this protective device gradually deteriorates, it’s consistently rousing to recycle the shield just before it disappears. Power-ups are plentiful in Wings of Bluestar (almost excessively), and you’ll soon grab up to two turrets that attach to the sides of Aya’s ship. Echoing Capcom’s Forgotten Worlds, these can be rotated, offering protection from enemies that emerge from all sides of the screen. By using the Switch’s triggers or the right analog stick, you can change the direction of fire. But I found that I’d unintentionally reposition the turrets as I was holding the default fire button down. Fortunately, for those with uncooperative fingers, Bluestar’s controls can be reconfigured. Alternatively, you can also tackle Bluestar’s stages as Zarak. His ship lacks the shield but supplements his beam weapon with a pair of lasers that rotate in opposite directions. At full power, Zarak’s output fills a lot of space and is capable of hitting ground targets protected by environmental structures. In place of the shield attack, he has a chargeable beam. The Gardener and the

It’s incredibly powerful and will convert enemy bullets into scoring icons, but the game doesn’t explain that you have to hold a button down for several seconds to power it up. But that’s not Bluestar’s only fault. There’s not much visual distinction between the harmless background objects and foreground elements that will destroy your ship with the slightest collision. While you can usually tell what’s dangerous by using the Zaxxon method (observing if your shots are canceled), there are moments when an overhead obstruction causes an unexpected death. Sure, level memorization will teach you to steer clear of the ground and ceiling, but first-rate STGs don’t leave room for ambiguity. Similarly, reading the screen can be overly complicated with multiple bullet colors. In a co-op game, there can be five different projectile colors on-screen, which be frustrating. Perhaps to accommodate for this, the two-player game runs at a much slower pace. (For an additional game mode, start a co-op game with a single player as Aya. Attempting to protect a motionless Zarak by bullet canceling can add a bit of fun). There’s also the issue of a wildly oscillating level of challenge. Bluestar’s first stage is a pushover; you’d have to be inattentive to lose one of your three lives, even on a higher difficulty setting. But the challenge quickly intensifies across subsequent levels that are filled with enemies and their projectiles. You’d think boss battles would intensify correspondingly. But many are pushovers that can be defeated in less than thirty seconds. I had to restrain myself from overusing Zarak’s beam weapon. But for every misstep, Bluestar attempts to redeem itself. Sure, the optional storyline is a bit lackluster, but the game attempts to uplift Aya and Zarak’s stories with dialog options.

Each ship has its own play style, weapon upgrade and scoring system.

Throughout the game, you’ll also be provided with opportunities to nab fleeing Risk Stars as well as portrait pieces. Each of these is used as currency to open up components like a boss rush mode, in-game achievements, a gallery, a sound test, and even extra credits for subsequent playthroughs. Many of these are surprisingly deep, with the gallery offering areas for sketches, concept drawings, and fan art. This kind of devotion to craft helps to make Bluestar’s blemishes a bit less conspicuous. Going by the name of Wings of Bluestar, this is billed as a “story driven shoot-em-up experience like no other”. Now, far be it from me to quibble, but what we actually have here is another in a long line of Eastasiasoft shooters, with retro style graphics and more bullets than you can shake a stick at. So, should we strap on a spacesuit and give it a blast, or are we better off watching satellites fail to launch from Cornwall?  Lets kick off with that story driven experience as there is a thread of narrative running through Wings of Bluestar, although – for reasons I’ll get to later – getting to the end of it may be beyond most people. The narrative involves an AI entity that came to Earth, revived by scientists. From there, the AI and the government got on and the world entered a golden age of civilisation. Until, that is, the AI decided that everyone should be made into a cyborg to prevent humanity waging war ever again. The populace weren’t keen, I think it is fair to say, and when the rogue AI used the planet’s orbital defences to stage a pre-emptive strike, the scene was set for a war. And if an AI wants a war, a war it can have. Wings of Bluestar is presented as a side-scrolling shoot ‘em up, with a hand drawn look to the sprites.Super Bullet Break Switch NSP

The enemies come thick and fast, and there is, without exaggeration, roughly eleventy billion arriving on screen at once – okay, maybe a slight exaggeration. But it’s nice that the stages do take some unexpected directions, with levels that scroll up and down, as well as seemingly into the screen along with running the usual side-scrolling ideas. The sound is exactly as you’d expect though, consisting of a variety of laser weaponry and explosions, right down to the mandatory siren sound when a boss is approaching. There is nothing here to upset this reviewer, but nothing to blow my tiny mind or wig clean off. It is very much business as usual. But how does it play, I hear you ask? This is the important bit after all, right? And, as we begin, the news looks pretty good, mostly as there are a number of modes to try your hand at. There is the arcade mode, which is your basic stage-after-stage shoot ’em up, and that is accompanied by a story mode, which is the same as arcade except for dodgy cut scenes that are very poorly translated into English. There is also a two player mode, for people who have friends next to them on the couch, and finally a Boss Rush mode available to be bought from the in-game shop.  The shop is an interesting addition to the game. As you play through whichever mode takes your fancy, there are bits of a picture to collect, and also stars that will be dropped by some of the enemies. These score you “Risk” points, and so when you finish an attempt on the game, these Risk points can be spent in the in-game shop. The aforementioned Boss Rush mode is available to buy, as is a gallery, and more credits amongst other things. It is nice to have the efforts of shooting bad guys rewarded with new stuff, so it is all gravy from this point on.However you take a run in Wings of Bluestar you will find yourself enjoying some shooting action.

Huge bosses with varied attack patterns.

At least as soon as you have chosen a character you are going to play as. You have a choice of a rookie pilot called Aya or a veteran ace called Zarak, and surprisingly their ships play very differently. Zarak is all about the offensive side of things, with many bullets being emitted from his ship; Aya meanwhile is the opposite, much more of a defensive player, utilising a shield that can be attached to the front, stopping bullets from ruining the day. This shield can also be charged up to give a super beam attack, and so she seems to be the obvious choice, right? Well, no, because Zarak’s weapons are so overwhelmingly powerful that not even bosses can live very long, so I’d go with him. Both ships can have turrets attached, and these can also be steered to fire in various different directions, something that comes in extremely handy later on. The sections where you fly downwards are a real pain though, as enemies come from the left and right of the screen, so having the turrets firing behind while you shoot forward will make your life easier. The action in Wings of Bluestar can be fast and furious, and the ships do offer two different ways to play, so the longevity of the game is assured. At least it would be if Eastasiasoft could have brought themselves to not hamstring the game with the Xbox achievement list. It’s typical Eastasiasoft stuff to be honest, with eight stages available should you be looking to finish the story. The problem is, the achievements run out after finishing stage three, and – for many – there goes the desire to continue playing.

Wings of Bluestar from eastasiasoft and Shinu Real Arts is a story-driven shoot ‘em up on PlayStation 5. In this one, you’ll be playing as trainee pilot Aya and veteran ace pilot Zarak who set out on a mission to investigate the resurgent threat from the remnants of a mysterious AI. The planet in danger is Accessia, also known as Bluestar. It all started back in 2020 when a group of scientists found a cave from around 100,000 BCE. Inside the cave was a peculiar contraption that contained an advanced AI. What is the origin of this particular AI? The civilization from another planet stored all of their wisdom, intelligence, history, art, and advanced knowledge in AI machines that were launched into space in the hope of an intelligent life finding them. Unfortunately, when it landed in Accessia, civilization was still very primitive. This led that particular AI machine to put itself into a deep sleep. Thanks to the knowledge of this AI – named BRAIN by the scientists – humanity was able to greatly advance its technology, even managing to develop space travel. Powerful weapons were also created in case of an eventual external threat. The medical, robotic, and synthetic fields also saw great advances thanks to the knowledge from BRAIN. People were able to improve and upgrade their bodies by installing superior artificial parts. These boosted their intelligence, strength, looks, and more. Seeking to continue to help humans improve, in the year 2080, BRAIN has a new plan for all: to help to convert every single human by leading society into transitioning from their organic bodies to full synthetic entities… including their brains. This proposal was rejected by the human government of Accessia, because the test subjects showed a lack of free will. BRAIN did not like this, and what started as a proposal turned into an order, and it ended up declaring war on all humans.

After a hand-drawn animated intro sets things up, you’ll be able to dive into the different options that Wings of Bluestar has to offer. The main one is Story Mode, where you can experience the game’s story as you work your way towards reaching the different endings. There’s also the option of playing through Arcade Mode in a single-player experience as you try to get the best high score possible. Two Players Mode is basically Arcade Mode but, well, for two players. In Training Mode, you can play through any stage you’ve already completed to improve your performance. The last one to consider is Bonus Mode, which allows you to check out the image gallery, as well as the extra features you can unlock – more on these in a bit. Zarak and Aya will each have their own ship to pilot, and each ship will have different stat values for you to consider. The stats are speed, attack, and defense. Zarak favors attack and speed, while Aya goes all-in on defense while having a slower ship and a balanced attack power. They also have different starting weapons and attack patterns, so you should definitely try both to see which one is best for your playing style. To control your ship, you’ll use the left analog stick or the D-Pad to move around the screen. The ship will move at a faster pace if you’re not holding down the attack button. Speaking of which, you’ll attack with the X button and can autofire by holding down the Triangle button. If you have equipped turrets, you can rotate them with the L2 and R2 buttons. Depending on which ship you’re piloting, pressing the Circle button for the special will either send the shield flying forward or unleash a power beam you’ll first have to charge up. Along with the shoot ‘em up action, the game will also have some visual novel-style sections during which you’ll get to learn more about the characters.Moonrise Fall Switch NSP
