Suhoshin Switch NSP Free Download Unfitgirl Suhoshin is the debut visual novel from French studio No More 500. Set in Joseon-era Korea, Suhoshin sees a series of strange and brutal murders shatter the peace of a quiet village in the countryside. It’s up to protagonist Yuri (and you) to unveil the truth. The story begins with Yuri riding back to the small village where he grew up after training as a civil servant in the capital. On the last night of his journey, he stumbles upon a lone woman in the countryside. She gives him no name but insists he take a mysterious pendant. When he wakes, there’s no trace of her, and Yuri wonders if the exhaustion from his travels caused him to dream the whole thing. He’s eager to settle into his old home and see his friends: his neighbor Soo Ah and village guard Yun Bok. Yuri spent his time in the capital learning to investigate crimes, but surely his assignment in such a small and peaceful village where everyone knows everyone will be far less exciting. But when a murderer strikes with shocking and gruesome results, it falls to Yuri to unmask the culprit and stop the bloodshed. Suhoshin follows the typical visual novel format with Yuri and his friends’ fates determined by your choices. There are bad endings, but a handy flowchart makes it easy to jump back and try a different path. The overall structure is an enforced route order, as some choices won’t be available on your first playthrough. Initially, you’ll leave with more questions than answers, and subsequent playthroughs build the central narrative. Your choices do determine which of the two final endings you get: the normal ending or the true ending.Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

However, the main ideas are similar, and both are fitting conclusions to the story. Suhoshin’s biggest strength is its art. Character artist Kageyoshi, known for Raging Loop, did excellent work using facial shapes and features to differentiate the characters and bring their personalities to life. The Joseon era clothing is colorful and detailed without becoming busy. 10 main characters (including Yuri) have full-body sprites with multiple facial expressions, and minor characters have partial sprites (sometimes reused) that appear in the corner of the text box. The latter is a nice touch of detail most visual novels lack. The background and event CGs likewise have an impressive amount of detail and a coherent visual style. My one nitpick is that every murder scene uses the same bloody hand CG, and it gets old quickly. The music and sound are similarly excellent. Tracks range from the cozy folk melodies of Yuri’s hometown to dissonant droning as the horrific reality of a murder sinks in. Sound effects like cicadas chirping and boots crunching through a forest are crisp and realistic. Suhoshin is particularly effective in its deployment of silence. Suspenseful scenes often start without music, leaving even Yuri’s quietest footfalls to echo like thunderclaps, as they would to him as he tries to move quietly while a killer lurks in the shadows. And when the action does kick into high gear, the music is right there to support it with driving intensity. Suhoshin’s narrative is event-focused with brisk, workmanlike prose. The pace never drags, and there are few lulls in the action. This style effectively builds and maintains suspense, especially in the scenes where Yuri heads out to investigate or patrol.

Suhoshin A story with multiple branching paths and endings.

There’s a real fear the killer could strike at any moment, and anyone could be next, even Yuri. The downside is that, while exciting, the writing doesn’t pack much emotional punch. Characters quickly move past what should be shocking and emotionally charged events, though fortunately the music picks up some of the slack here. Nor is there any of the inertia that can create a slower but deeper sense of dread. While Suhoshin’s premise makes it sound like a murder mystery, I experienced it as more of a thriller. Despite his training in criminal investigations, Yuri isn’t particularly clever. Rather, his strengths are his iron will and calm under pressure. Furthermore, much of the information Yuri needs is handed to him rather than discovered through his investigations. In fact, the overall construction of the mystery is more Supernatural than Sherlock Holmes. Suhoshin doesn’t do much in the way of leaving a trail of clues (unless perhaps one is knowledgeable about Korean folklore), and the twists serve to shock and excite rather than build an intricate web of intrigue. It’s a fun ride, but there were moments where I thought Suhoshin was subtly setting up to do something that never paid off. In particular, the final climax could have used a bit more oomph or one last swerve. Suhoshin was made with Unity, a more difficult choice for a first-time visual novel developer than the popular Ren’py. No More 500 seems to have struggled with some of the UI design, and while there have been improvements since the demo that we previously looked at, the final product is still lackluster in this regard. Much of this is missed opportunities. The TakeOver Switch NSP

Title cards announce day and location changes but are simply text on a plain background. If Suhoshin isn’t going to add any decorative flair, then better to stick to a simple fade to black. Similarly, Suhoshin sprinkles in some Korean words, but most could have been replaced one-for-one with English words or easily explained in context via the text. Instead, you’ll need to look them up in an index. You also need to load a game before you can access the flowchart or the CG gallery, an unnecessary step not found in most visual novels. The one technical aspect that is a significant issue is the skip function. There’s no option to skip unread text, and all animations play while skipping. Since characters frequently come and go and locations change, skipping is quite slow in practice. Fortunately, Suhoshin’s built-in flowchart means you likely won’t need to do much skipping. The exception is if you got the normal ending and wanted to go back to get the true ending since this depends on several choices spaced throughout the game. The first thing that separates Suhoshin from other visual novels would have to be its distinctive art style. Artist Kageyoshi’s style is a welcomed break from the anime illustrations of other visual novels capturing characters facial expressions and spectacular environments in his art style. The overall story of Suhoshin is one wrapped in murder, mystery, investigation, and the occult. Yuri’s homecoming is cut short when a series of murders with no apparent motive start in his village. Yuri must use he skills he learned at the capital to solve the horrendous crimes and bring the criminal to justice. The environment in Suhoshin can change from peaceful to foreboding by emphasizing its music and prose. Upon arriving home, Yuri is greeted by his childhood friends after a little catching up Yuri reports for duty to the local Satto (TL: Village Ruler).

Character design by the renowned artist Kageyoshi.

The story of Suhoshin takes place over 7 days game time with title cards announcing location changes like Yuri’s house, the Market Distract, and others in a plain text on a simple background. The options found when doing our Suhoshin review are somewhat minimal. You can choose 1-10 text speeds, change the Auto-forward time from 1-5 in 0.5 increments along with music and sound effect volumes. Suhoshin has an index for quick reference of Korean terms that are used throughout the game, a gallery for unlocked key scenes, and a flowchart so you can choose the point of replaying a day instead of from the beginning if you happen to make a mistake and get merc’d (which can happen just walking around at night). There is an old saying in the movie industry “Show, don’t tell”, and one of the short falls of Suhoshin is that while the visuals are great – when the narrative describes a murder victim that has been ripped open and entrails strewed around the room, I feel that readers need something more than a bloody hand. Rounding out our Suhoshin review, I wish they didn’t use the same illustration more then once to describe different murders. Other visual novels like Doki Doki Literature Club and Higurashi: When They Cry had a great handle on this with multiple death scenes – though we’re certainly not unaware of the cultural sensitivities of Korea when it comes to the depiction of sex and violence. If No More 500 wants to be a contender in the already oversaturated market of visual novels on Steam, I believe they have to step up the blood and gore, as we didn’t find much while doing our Suhoshin review. If you are seeking to brush up on your ancient Korean culture or looking for a quick murder mystery Suhoshin might be up your alley.Growbot Switch NSP

If graphic depictions of violence are more your thing, you might find Suhoshin a bit too tame for your taste. Suhoshin was reviewed on PC using a copy provided by No More 500. You can find additional information about Niche Gamer’s review/ethics policy here. Suhoshin is now available on Steam. Here’s a game like a fairy tale. Oh, but it’s not just a warm, instructive folk tale. It is a traditional fairy tale that is somewhat spooky and sometimes heavy. On the one hand, it reminds me of the legendary hometown. But what’s really interesting is that this very Korean game is not developed in Korea. The background is the Joseon Dynasty, the main character, Yuri, is a young man who has passed the military exam, Sato and Grand Gamma also appear, and you can see beautiful hanbok and elegant hanok here and there, but the creator of this game is No More, a French indie developer. 500. If you just play without knowing this, the level of Korean perfection is so high that you won’t believe that it was developed in a country other than Korea. I can’t say it’s perfect, but it’s a creation to the end, and this level is absolutely not enough compared to a lot of dramas, movies, and genre novels. And the best thing, of course, is the part that tells us that Korean traditional elements are ‘Korea’. Information is provided so that you can understand it naturally in the flow of the game, rather than forcibly ‘explaining’ it. The main character and his friends drink makgeolli and sujeonggwa at an inn, eat samgyetang, and sometimes eat soup. In the process, you naturally get the information that an inn serves as a restaurant and a bar at the same time, and is a space where you can laugh and chat with people. In addition to this, you can also know that sujeonggwa is a traditional Korean drink, makgeolli is a traditional drink.

Steeped in the culture of ancient Korea, with stunning environments and characters dressed in traditional clothing.

And samgyetang and rice soup have been eaten for a long time. Not only that. Let’s look at the case of Hanbok. Through the phrase that the hanbok worn by the victim of the murder case was soaked in blood, it naturally connects it to the main event of the game, and it constantly shows each character wearing a different colored hanbok. And the hanbok worn by the characters is delicately expressed to the point where you can feel the material. Depending on the social status, the costumes change or the level of splendor changes. The appearance of a pacifier as a main item in the game is also a very unique and surprising setting. As we are Koreans, the part that we naturally skipped over, or rather, the part that we wanted to explain too deeply, on the contrary, was melted while balancing it well. And you can very easily check the glossary in-game with just one key to get more information than the game explains. Unlike most foreign games that simply mix the cultures of Korea, China, and Japan and describe it as oriental or oriental, Suhoshin is exactly a Korean game. Old place names such as Hanyang and Dongrae appear steadily to clearly understand the background of Joseon, and Yangdong, the main area where the incident takes place, also uses the same Chinese characters as Gyeongju Yangdong Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The background is also clean, such as the field where Jangseung appears, such as General Cheonha and General Jihae, the interior of the houses of characters whose splendor varies depending on their social status, the gentry village lined with tile-roofed houses, and the scene of a market where the hustle and bustle comes to mind just by looking at the illustrations. However, it is meticulously detailed.

There is one more thing that stands out as much as the illustration, no, catches the eye. It is the background music that plays the main scenes of the game. The sound of the janggu played by Sua, one of the main characters, comes out nicely, and I can hear a lot of traditional instruments in each piece of music. The game itself called Guardian God is a very typical visual novel. It doesn’t have many endings, but it’s divided into a few, and it’s a mix of mystery, thriller, and mystery. However, you can think of it as a real reasoning, such as direct investigation or clicking on an object. Only basic controls are provided: clicking on dialogue to proceed, selecting dialogue to ask questions, or picking key options for the very rare ending. However, the branches that are divided according to hidden stories or choices are carefully woven in their own way. After seeing one ending, new options appear, and as a result, new stories that could not be confirmed at first play continue. In the beginning, the main character’s behavior and superficial story development, which felt stuffy, no, really, very, very frustrating to the point of wanting to hit him, are gradually released as new branches emerge. Is it like an onion? As the new story progresses, the information about the culprit and the secrets of the town are revealed more clearly. Most interestingly, this game isn’t just a story game with multiple endings. At first glance, it may just feel like a story game with multiple endings, but in fact, all those endings lead to one big stem. The whole game called Guardian God can be considered as one big story. And I can’t give an exact explanation because it could be a spoiler in the development process, but I used elements I hadn’t thought of at all.

Through this, a story that could have been obvious, stuffy, and ordinary was twisted quite interestingly. In this process, all the hints that have been passed by for a while are also released into the story. Wasn’t it surprising that the game, which I thought would end with just showing Korean elements until the beginning and middle, was voila? I think it’s a feeling of showing a reversal element. However, the process of getting to that interesting section is not very fun. It’s because there aren’t many characters and there aren’t many options, so there are too few parts that can directly interfere. It’s no exaggeration to say that in the end, the story and the charm of the characters dictate everything in the game, as ordinary visual novels have almost no manipulation. Oh, of course, the visuals shown are also important. ‘Visual’ + ‘Nobel’. After all, it should be fun to play, or rather watch, for hours of fun with just clicks and the occasional selection. You need a story that’s engaging and immersive enough that you don’t mind which finger you’re clicking on. However, unfortunately, the section where the story starts to gain momentum and goes downhill is too ordinary. Still, it would not be boring to go uphill, climb the stairs, go to the flat ground once, and go through a slope so high that it makes you sigh once. I understand that it was to protect an important reversal, or to show that reversal more dramatically. However, until the moment we see the first ending, the main character, Yuri, shows incompetence in not being able to find even the main hints, and Sato is only getting angry. After the first ending, it was to the point where I shouted “No, so what?” alone. Guardian God is a game like a traditional fairy tale or tale set in Joseon. Among them, it gives off an atmosphere that is not as bright as Janghwa Hongryeonjeon.Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown Switch NSP
