Gameplay combines detective elements and urban adventures. You will solve mysterious events with your succubus mate girl. The deduction part has a time limit, but it does not cause much stress. As you do it well, additional routes open, which can lead you to a different ending. Besides, not only the main story, but also the sub quests are quite interesting. They are also mostly linked to H events. There were some bugs with the text translations being oversized at times so could not read the mission or option to select. It wasn’t game breaking, but slightly annoying because you don’t know what the mission is since half of the sentence was off screen. The story has cheeky moments throughout that made it very enjoyable. The h scenes are pleasant and the sound effects are what you can expect for these games. Recommended getting all endings to get the most out of this game.

To clarify, if you don’t know Dojin Otome allow me to introduce them to you. They are the amazing developers behind one of the year’s best gem for lewd game enthusiast, Summer Memories. It’s a truly beautiful pixel art game with so much to do that it’s worth spending over 1000 hours on it! After my completion of the game in my free time, I wanted desperately to see more from the developer. To my pleasant surprise, Kagura Games has finally done it and brought another title over. Succumate brings the art and gameplay we’ve come to love from Summer Memories with a story too good to pass up. Buy it today on Steam or Kagura Games website for $13.49, it’s worth it. On November 21, 2020, Kagura Games and Dojin Otome ( Summer Memories ) released the anime adventure Succumate for PC . On Steam , a launch discount of ten percent off the regular retail price will be granted until November 27 (EUR 11.24 instead of EUR 12.49). The game is overall pretty good, the animations are solid, the banter between characters is cute and good, and it has a overall pretty comfy feeling going on for most of the game, besides a ovearching plot that you have to resolve that is fairly simple. Here is the problem It has 3 endings two of them are fine The last one sucks complete ass, and i wouldnt even recommend you to go for the “true end”. When you finish the first ending, and you go into the recollection room, dont even try to talk to the npc there that will indirectly try to force you to see that true ending. Because it just ruins the entire narrative, like i cant believe that the whole game was pretty good, but the author just had to shit on the whole game, by doing one of the cheapest moves known in stories, without any reason, besides maybe coming off as some amazing plot twist that no one needed, not even the game itself, since it was already solid. In case you just want to know what it isUnderrated game, animations are perfect and the characters are well defined. The big problem with this game are the endings, which are all disappointing and are not satisfying at all, but I think the game might definitely be improved in the future. Or at least I hope so!The animations are good, you have simple minigames and even on normal the time and resource management is trivial if you give some throught, albeit you may feel you are farming money every oportunity you can and the story is interesting to keep you invested, but is all for naught once you discover the true end and everything you had builded over your game doens’t even matter. This developer rocks. Compared to Summer Memories I would say its subpar, but the minigames are all here, and there’s plenty of stuff to get lost in. I would say the weakest part is the beginning, but once you figure out the gameplay loops it’s a really solid experience that isn’t hellish to 100% complete. Game in overall is really enjoyable in the entertaining player, though it was way repeating and not much of exciting afterwards and the way they made game in RPG maker is genius. However there were multiple issues in it, which i will mention. Storywise was some what okayish, it had like japanese animated cartoonish adult cutscenes which were good. If it was possible, there should’ve been way more content, it shouldn’t been ending at 6th chapter, it looked like it could’ve manifested way further than it should’ve, it was bland ending in my opinion Characthers didn’t have much of side-questing, deep information, background check, or any that all, it was more like meet & fuck thing after getting to max relationship. There wasn’t lag issue at least for me, however i didn’t like the scaling, there was annoying issue of text going instant in cutscenes, your stats bars/traveling pops up in it also. I did have one crash once in 3-4th when i had done the work for succubus already before, was doing sex at the end of day over the time limit about 3-5 hours ingame and died by the door for some reason, then it crashed If you were to play this, don’t take story too serious since it is ‘Short’, you will spending about 3-4 hours grind money to do things, and a lot of waiting. This game tries to be a type of mystery solver. And they went full Lost season 6 on you. Nothing was real. You’re some beggar who got fed some questionable drugs by a crazy pharmacist. The entire game is your hallucination. Personally, I dislike the All Just A Dream trope. Imo, it’s lazy writing. Putting all this aside, let’s talk about the character development. It’s quite sparse. The main character, Lilim, has almost no character development. Which to be fair, she doesn’t exist. But still, I’d have liked the demon world plot to be further developed. But no, Lilim’s character is just “fuck” and “likes sweets” and that’s it.

Explore the Neighborhood and Interact With Your Neighbors

The gameplay itself was decent. You go around a (small) looped town while making money to buy dick drugs and try to bang your neighbors. What more could you want? However, the little side quests didn’t really tie the game together very well. They feel kind of tossed in. e.g. You perform on a guitar to a group of animals and the final animal gives you a sex move. Okay, that doesn’t make any sense. Gotta call out the lag. As you play more, the game lags more. Until you can’t take it anymore, save, close the game and start it up again. In about <10 hours of gameplay, I restarted the game probably 20 times.Solid art. I love the cute “high res” pixelated style. And some of the scenes have nice higher quality animations as well. One thing to call out is that Dojin Otome doesn’t draw vaginas particularly well. I’ll leave it at that. Solidly mediocre game. To make a better version of this game would require throwing away the “True ending” and making a real true ending. Then expanding more game options. The side-girls are really limited in their interactions. This review is based off my experiences playing the modded version of the game as well as using the guide in this thread. This game is interesting to review because some people might despise this game and some might love it. Let me just preface this before I get into the meat of the review, this game is a MUST-PLAY with the guide that’s in this thread. If you play without the guide, you are not going to have a fun time. Secondly, I HIGHLY recommend downloading the modded version of this game so that you can give yourself as much money as you want so you can buy items without worry. This is really the only cheat you need. Also, do yourself a favor and play on easy, there is literally no point in fucking over your mental state just to play the tougher difficulty.

Story: Unlike Summer Memories (Which I actually like more overall than this game) this game actually has a story that I reallllllyy enjoyed. It’s a simple concept but works so well because of the Mystery/deduction elements. I’m not going to say much else to not spoil but the story in this game, despite being short, is actually very enjoyable and interesting once you get the third ending. Gameplay: So this aspect is going to be the biggest dealbreaker for some people. If you have played Summer Memories, the gameplay of this game is pretty similar but can be a lot more annoying. There are a good bit of “meters” and stats to keep track of and, like summer memories, when you start out, it can be daunting and confusing, but once you get the hang of it, the routine becomes simple and rewarding. Like I said earlier, use the cheat to give yourself money. The guide makes things easy to understand, and if you are a completionist like me, the guide tells you how to 100% the game. It will probably take 3-5 in-game days to get used to the cluttered HUD and meters but you will get used to it I promise. Having to constantly use items to keep your “tiredness” down and “hunger” up is BY FAR the most annoying part of the game, I could have really gone without these 2 meters existing. Sex Stuff: Pretty much the main reason to download the game. Like other dojin-otome games, the H-stuff in this game is some premium shit (y). I’m a sucker for pixel stuff so I love the scenes in this game. They are also animated very well with sound to make the experience so much better. Scenes defiantly feel rewarding to earn. Dirty talk is also decent but could be better ig. All in all, if you got like 4-6 hours to spare, give this game a shot it’s worth it imo Recently Dojin Otome really surprised me with their games. They are super polished and interesting with a lot of RPG elements. Elements such as raising attributes, earning money, doing odd-jobs, discovering events, doing quests, obtaining equipment and other things that you can expect from your staple RPG. The only gripe with the game is that there is only one scene variation for the secondary heroines. I would have loved to see fully developed other variations of sex scenes for them as well, as Lilim had too many that I didn’t even bother using. in few words: a good animated game and has the dojin otome pattern, if you are looking for these 16 bit full animated games, this is a good choice, but nothing spectacular. introduction: dude, a standard animation game, with tags not very varied and a little limited, but it leaves nothing to be desired in any respect it is just an above average game. technical criteria: it has a very cool story, in easy difficulty it is very easy, with a large space to farm money and try to do side quests, and in addition it has a good history with succubus and its mess.
