Road 96 Mile 0 Free Download Unfitgirl Road 96 was a different kind of game that had its routes firmly in it narrative, yet it acted as almost a roguelike element to it with every decision leading to a selection of ending depending on your choices. It’s focus on a tyrannical government took a backseat in favour of the people who were affected by it. Road 96: Mile 0 is about the events leading up to the original’s journey which saw you attempt to cross the border, fleshing out the story of Zoe, a main character from the first game, and her friendship with Kaito, a boy who’s views on President Tyrak and Petria skewed following the death of his sister. Throughout Road 96: Mile 0, you talk to a host of characters. Colton is Tyrak’s son who you used to babysit. Kaito’s parents are concerned for their son; Steve is a security guard who sits outside of Tyrak’s compound. There’re various new characters who offer some insight into what is going on inside the place you call home, and through the course of the story, you’ll have to make decisions that either open Zoe’s eyes to what’s really going on, or cause her to remain loyal to whatever brainwashing techniques the president and his regime are relying on. The game has a procedurally generated storyline, meaning that each playthrough will be different. The

The narrative goes to some dark places. Kaito lost a friend to the government’s actions, and Zoe suffers from trauma after a supposed terrorist attack in 1986. These topics come up in conversation, and the friends do their best to be there for each other. However, it’s hard to really stay in this mental place when the story shows you some heavy scenes, and in the next scene, the two are eavesdropping on gossip over a walkie-talkie. I understand their kids, but you have to pace this stuff out or allow it to make sense from a story perspective. Given that the game can be completed in around 6 – 8 hours, the story takes place over several in-game days, capped off by an approaching sandstorm. The world-building is excellent here as the upper class is so far removed from worrying about this and more focused on a speech by their leader. The lower class seems to be more concerned with the issues of the city, but they also do all the work, while the upper class takes on higher roles.

The game has multiple possible endings, depending on the choices players make throughout the game.

Rather than stepping into the boots of an unnamed hitchhiker, you follow Zoe and Kaito. Although friends, they both feel differently about the political landscape due to their backgrounds and personal experience. Despite that, they are still close and maintain a strong friendship which is evident throughout. Zoe comes from a wealthy family and has no reason to question the government, however, Kaito’s life is full of unjust hardship which spawns an anarchist viewpoint. At first, this may seem like a tale of two sides, but the lines blur and the game’s narrative becomes more complex as it progresses. A Change in Direction A divisive design decision with Mile 0 is the removal of the procedural narrative ethos. While this does strip away part of the franchise’s identity, it allows the developers to hone in on particular people and tell a deliberate tale. Previously, your encounters with the cast were from a characterless avatar, whereas now you control big personalities. This adds further weight to the choices you make and the path you venture down. You can jump over obstacles and duck, and move from left to right. Sometimes, levels will incorporate new obstacles like falling trees, lasers, and flying sections where you need to dodge debris and pillars. These ideas remain fresh enough to make them fun, and if there’s a particular area you struggle with, you are given the option to skip to the next bit. DARK SOULS 3

Surrounded by the warm embrace of the sand as well as by walls manned by the police, the idle and glittering White Sands – the richest city of Petria – is crossed by an unusual electoral panache. It is 1996 and we are just a few days away from the “probable” re-election of the ruler Tyrak, the dictator depicted in the many grotesque statues scattered throughout the city, while the memory of the attack that the Black Brigades carried out ten years earlier reappears as a ghost of the past. Kaito and Zoe, two teenagers linked by a strong but unconventional friendship, spend their days killing time in the construction site of a building that serves as the perfect secret refuge, until we break into the boy’s thoughts to be catapulted into the tumultuous incipit by Road 96: Mile 0 . We had already been able to test the watermark of the DigixArt title which acts as a prequel to Road 96 (by the way, you can find our review of Road 96 here ) and we were pleasantly surprised: now we are ready to tell you what awaits us along the road that leads to longed-for freedom. We leave.

The characters are not one-dimensional, with each one having a distinct personality and perspective.

Kaito and Zoe make an unlikely pair; Zoe is the daughter of Petria’s Minister of Oil, while Kaito is the son of lowly workers. Zoe lives in a pristine gated community next door to the country’s leader, Tyrak, while Kaito calls a one bedroom basement apartment in the slums his home. Hell, how they even met in the first place is a mystery! But despite these differences, the two spend their free time together at their secret base, playing video games, listening to music, and making plans for a road trip someday. Unfortunately, Petria has other plans for these besties — will they be able to maintain their friendship no matter what is thrown their way? That’s for players to find out in Road 96 Mile 0, a prequel to 2021’s Road 96 again developed by Digixart and published by Ravenscourt. Delving deeper into the events that preceded Road 96’s storyline and the lore behind it, Road 96 Mile 0 follows Zoe, one of the characters from Road 96, and Kaito, the protagonist from Lost in Harmony, as they goof off together like good friends should while gearing up for history-altering actions that no child should have to endure. And while understanding the original game is certainly recommended before (or shortly after) diving into Road 96 Mile 0, there’s plenty of enjoyment to be had without playing its predecessor. Here, everything is developed in a much more traditional way : you start controlling Zoe, where you meet Kaito, and you discover that they are two great friends who are diametrically opposed: she is the daughter of an oppressive government minister and he lives in the poorest neighborhood of the city, struggling to survive with his parents in the face of the more than evident oppression of the government. Neither Zoe nor Kaito think differently, well, they don’t think : the player deals with embodying them at different times, and since you take the reins of their decisions, you are the protagonist and the supporter of their actions and decisions. I’m never really convinced of this and I’ve criticized it in other games, and it’s a bit the same here: I feel that Road 96: Mile 0 tries to establish a kind of conflict between the two characters that doesn’t exist if you don’t want it and, in fact, his political message is so obvious that it surprises me that any player actually manages to establish himself at either end of the scale of thought. In order for you to understand me better, both as Zoe and Kaito, you will have to make decisions that tip the value of a scale (always on screen) that indicates the political thinking of each character. You can make Zoe stand with her father and the government or she doubts them and begins to take Kaito’s thoughts seriously, which are conflicting but can also be modified: that instead of being a revolutionary supporter of a probably terrorist group have doubts as to whether this is the best way to fight against the dictatorship.

The story is both engaging and emotionally gripping, taking players on a journey of redemption and self-discovery.

The world presented in Road 96 is an interesting, albeit depressingly prescient one. Living under the thumb of President Tyrak, you play the dual role of best friends Zoe, a character from Road 96, and Kaito, a character in Lost In Harmony (also from DigixArt) as they fantasise about running away together from the nation of Petria. Coming from wildly different upbringings, the friends have a solid bond, and their relationship is far and away the strongest component of the title, though they have their share of disagreements. Gameplay is presented uniquely, mostly functioning like a Telltale game, morality system and all. You observe the environment and talk to people, standard stuff. But periodically, the game interjects some infinite runner rhythm segments. The environmental design on these levels is creative, offering some standout visuals, and they all feel unique while making use of some killer licensed music. However, it also shines a light directly on the biggest issue plaguing the game: tonal incongruity. Days Gone

As the player hitchhikes their way to freedom, they will encounter a variety of characters, each with their own motivations, secrets, and stories to share.

While the musical sequences are presented as a form of escapism from the rigours of existence for Zoe and Kaito, the script does a poor job of placing a buffer between the fun of these levels and the more sobering narrative elements throughout the rest of the story. While it’s one thing to discuss Zoe witnessing a terrorist attack in her youth, it’s another to present it as a fun musical set-piece. The script itself doesn’t strike a good balance either, often transitioning from subjects such as a rumination on class inequality directly into a slapstick comedy sketch before interjecting a news bulletin about an impending natural disaster. It’s, to put it mildly, a mess. And this happens over and over throughout the 4-5 hours required to complete the game. While pitch-black comedy can work, the writing in Mile 0 is awkward enough that it feels accidental rather than deliberately irreverent. What you’re left with is a fun rhythm game surrounded by a plethora of questionable writing decisions. Despite Tyrak being an absolute piece of shit, there’s also a grey area into what the rebels known as the Black Brigade is, or more so what their motives are and how they achieve them.

Nothing is ever straightforward, and you’ll be forced to choose whether Kaito blindly follows these freedom fighters, or questions their approach to bringing down Tyrak. Switching between Zoe and Kaito becomes commonplace throughout Road 96: Mile 0, and regardless of who you play as, there is some fantastic dialogue that brings your own ideals and beliefs into play. For those who played Road 96, there’re plenty of nods to the game, as well as returning characters who you’ll likely remember. It’s bittersweet at times, especially as those characters received a more than positive fate depending on the choices you originally made. John, the truck driver and Black Brigade member returns, as do other various characters. I won’t spoil them all, but they might pop up briefly, or even feature in a newspaper clipping you stumble across. In terms of gameplay, there’re two main focuses. Firstly, you’ll be free to roam various areas of White Sands, interact with the locals, and solve puzzles or play mini games. Then, there’re the musical sections completely new to the series. In these sections of Road 96: Mile 0, they play out like familiar rhythm games like Thumper, Aaero, and even Guitar Hero. Each level revolves around the area you’ve just played through. For example, one has you escaping a recently employed bodyguard who’s been tasked with protecting you, while another focuses on you breaking into Tyrak’s home and secret safe.
