Potentia Free Download Unfitgirl The Turkish developers from Wily Pumpkin want to take you to the end-time adventure Potentia for just under 20 euros. The fact that it reminds some of The Last of Us on Steam is probably due to similarities such as scenario, shoulder view and a game mechanic that focuses on stealth and action. Such a comparison may be a PR blessing, but it can also become a curse. Because it’s not always wise if you, as a small studio, orientate yourself too much on big role models. Victor’s adventure begins at a train station. He wants to meet his wife Anna, fireworks light up the night and people celebrate because the war is just over. You don’t know exactly what time or city you are in, but skyscrapers and English names suggest a contemporary US metropolis. The station is explored from the shoulder, in which some things look static, but together with the people, graffito and display boards still look very solid. However, the horror begins as soon as you have to listen to the first dialogue between a passer-by and a veteran. This is not only due to facial expressions and gestures, but also to the content – the entire situation just seems clumsy. Just like the sudden transition from balloons and party mood to catastrophe: as soon as Victor gets on the train, there is an attack, burning people dissolve into nothing – almost like matches. Between the alarm and the fire, Victor searches for Anna, whom he finds without a stain on her clean suit, despite the smoke and sprints. After this poor start, one is informed that the government has fallen, the cities have deserted, and the end times have arrived. Three years later, everyone is struggling to survive in a new world. The camera pans to what appears to be a deserted city that at least looks like a roughly textured design study for The Last of Us .Of course, the technological class difference to top games immediately catches the eye, even if you set everything from textures, anti-aliasing to shadows or view distance to ultra and start in 1920 x 1080 – precisely because the end time was staged by so many well-known studios. But for such a small team of four developers, the setting is fine. Even if some copy & paste can be seen in the terrain and vegetation and explosions in particular leave a lot to be desired, a lot of effort has been made to design small things, especially since some animations in close combat are impressive. But even if the view of car wrecks and house facades briefly fuels the hope that it will be attractive or even dramatic, Victor’s stupid grin immediately ensures distance instead of identification. Players will take control of the main character Victor and experience his action-packed story in the Potentia universe.
But evil fireworks
The story starts with a strange event that wipes out most of the local population and no one knows the true extent of the damage. Authorities are no more, each and every single day becomes another struggle to survive. Victor fights against armed enemies to protect his loved ones. He also gets some help throughout his journey from an unexpected old friend. He then uncovers some hard to accept facts. Stealth gameplay or full action is possible. Also, different kinds of weapons is at players’ disposal through the advancement of the story. Gameplay The player controls the main character from over the shoulder camera perspective throughout the game. A pistol, a shotgun, an assault rifle, a bow, and a lever will be available through the advancement of the story. These weapons and takedown stealth kill mechanic will be at the player’s disposal during combats. Traversal mechanics consist of simple movement with sprint, crouching, and climbing. Potentia has also changing mechanics which means that for some particular levels, some mechanics are added and then removed while complying with the story surely. Pistol silencer, night goggles, or a fixed-wing drone are examples of these temporary mechanics. Potentia game was officialy released 11 February 2021, and until additional notification a couple of Steam contemplates. In any case, this is in danger to change, as the new creation from Wily Pumpkin. MXGP 2019 – The Official Motocross Videogame
Potentia’ senergetically looks like the renowned The Last Of Us strategy with its unfortunate deserted and relentless game world and third-particular point of view. In Potentia you play as Joel Victor, who is looking for his lost life accomplice Anna after a perplexing enthusiastic calamity, which pushes humankind truly near fall quickly. Potentia is so far a great game with lots of adventure gameplay. The roads are piled up with irate savages. In such conditions, weapons and ammunition are deficient, and Potentia’s insight requires some crucial getting sorted out and frameworks from its players. Check out the Walkthrough video below. The game is at present holding 73% positive ratings from its players on Steam, who acclaim its air, disposition, and music, comparably as good doing fighting and shooting mechanics. Obviously, players rebuff Potentia’s delicate substance, unfathomably ghastly voice-acting, restricted parkour framework, and all around dull instinct in close straight levels. A few players even kidded they at long last get an opportunity to play The Last of Us on PC, which was just a fantasy for quite a while. Probebbly not! Because there are better and amazing story games and Potentia only got 73% of rating on Steam which shows the unpopularity, low sale and less player choice. Potentia was released on Steam less than a week ago, on February 11. It’s a post-apocalyptic third-person shooter and reminds us a lot of The Last of Us.
But does it actually have anything in common with the classic or is it just utter garbage. Let’s find out! Developer Wily Pumpkin is a small indie studio from Ankara, Turkey. For a game developed by only four people, Potentia looks pretty damn good. If you look at the Steam recommendations, it mostly gets positive feedback. Of course, the similarities with The Last of Us are uncanny, but did they just cheaply rip off a beloved game, or is Potentia actually good? The world of Potentia is one completely destroyed by a highly energetic weapon. As is often the case in games like this, society completely collapses and nature takes back, what was previously taken from her. Sounds very familiar already. Main character Victor is separated from his wife and wants nothing more than to find her. If you consider the looks of Victor and his wife Anna it feels like watching those weird Bollywood rip-offs. You’d think a game that is so obviously inspired by a beloved game would get torn to shreds by an angry mob of fans. Surprisingly, the Steam reviews are mostly positive. Maybe the game actually has something going for it. Many players seem to agree, that the world of Potentia is really well-made, with lots of attention to details. There isn’t much people seem to be complaining about. Just, you know: the monotonous gameplay, how short the game is, the bad voice acting, the AI… wait, why does this game have such positive reviews again? MX Bikes
It happens in the gaming world that sometimes developers feel inspired by other classic or modern games. Potentia seems to take all the ideas that worked in sagas like Uncharted and The Last of Us; but without the same taste. More lost than Turkish in the mist Potentia is a story dressed in a thousand formats. We play Victor, a man who was in a subway station when a mysterious energy attacks the earth and a large part of the population disappears. Years go by and the streets are a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of gangs? military? who control the area. In this busy world we have to find our wife Anna; while we come across a motley of secondary characters who don’t contribute much more to the plot either. The problem of the lack of originality is not something that can subtract points in its argument, but Potentia has some cutscenes or cinematics with dialogue so poorly acted that more than once I was tempted to skip them. In addition, there are several situations that have no correlation with what the protagonist is going through. And not to mention that the lack of charisma makes it impossible to have any kind of empathy with Victor Without a doubt, the Turkish studio Wily Pumpkin Studios takes much of its playable style and setting from the famous Naughty Dog game, The Last of Us . But without wanting to criticize either of the two franchises; we had already seen these ideas in older games, movies and books.
The last of us
Potentia divides the option of playing quite well in two ways: at close range shots or with complete stealth. Depending on the difficulty, facing several soldiers will completely use up our arsenal of bullets. There are several cartridges scattered on the maps but not enough to believe that we have infinite bullets. On the other hand, stealth is a good option. We can attack enemies from behind or even shoot an arrow at them or use a pistol with a silencer. The problem is that some distances can be long to do on the sly and we end up walking or running alerting an enemy. We cannot take shelter against a wall, we can only crouch down and try not to be seen. We don’t jump but we can climb to certain parts of the stage (yes, those places that the game allows us). These limitations make Victor’s movements a bit clunky and take away from a lot of realism. The enemies are quite generic, there are those who attack up close with a knife, others with pistols, grenades, shotguns and machine guns. There are also some with bulletproof vests, although I don’t see the point since if we shoot them in the head they don’t die and continue as if nothing happened. Their standard of living is quite arbitrary. There are a total of eight chapters, quite different from each other and that ultimately does not tire the player. The setting ranges from abandoned streets, forests and lakes, buildings, abandoned premises and moments of night and rain. My Future Wif
The atmosphere and the design of the scenarios is the best that Potentia offers ; especially if we think of it as an indie game. There’s a lot of shadow work and lighting as we walk in and out of a dark building onto a light street. From the sound, there is nothing to reproach him. The world we travel through is full of life, especially the wooded areas where we hear the fauna turning. Ongoing cold war was about to end. Both sides declared that they would no longer continue pursuing the war effort. That night, everyone was on the streets. People were celebrating the end of the war. The entire city was like a party zone. One of our friends was throwing a party at his home. My wife Anna and I were going to meet at the metro station to join our friends later that night. Eh, what can I say. We were all happy. As it turns out, our happiness wouldn’t last long. And our hopes for peace would vanish with the majority of the people around us. Everything was lost in less than a second. An unknown energy weapon hit the city. No one knows the true extent of the damage caused by it, if it was contained to just one city, country, or the entire planet. Buildings and Infrastructure are left intact. Animals and plants are unharmed. However, people… Many of them just disappeared.
Now, no one answers our radio transmissions. No one comes to our aid. Everyone just seems to be vanished. No one is around other than some hostile savages. After the attack so few of us survived and what little amount of people who were still alive and sane wasn’t enough to keep government and law enforcement agencies functioning. Now it is the survival of the fittest. People became little more than savages. Every new day brings new hardships but in the end we will endure, we will survive, whatever the cost. This is the story of Victor, Anna and Victor’s new mysterious best friend. Approach your enemies silently and takedown them with your trusty crowbar. Get your hands dirty with close combat if you are caught. If you prefer to use a silent ranged weapon, use your bow to silently hunt your enemy down. When the things get really messy, switch to your reliable assault rifle. For the worst case, always keep your pistol somewhere nearby. Most importantly, manage your ammunition and medkit shots wisely. If you want to survive all these, you have to use your items carefully.
