NBA 2K17 Free Download Unfitgirl NBA 2K17 succeeds by touching a spot on the backboard most other sports games can’t jump up and reach. Even when it feels too grindy or misses a step, it provides diverse options and singular moments of basketball gameplay bliss that are hard to top. The NBA 2K series as a whole works for me because it excites me as an NBA super fan. It’s a game that celebrates the athletes, taps into the excitement of a big-time dunk, and allows me to customize who I want to be on the court. Sometimes I get flustered by a floaty pass or thrown off by a player like Kevin Durant or Andrew Wiggins looking far too skinny, but then I’ll hit a deep three with Steph Curry that makes the fans at Oracle Arena go ballistic and I’m all-in again. The same concept applies to just about every facet of NBA 2K17. I’m not in love with the grind of MyCareer mode, but the amount of options at my disposal in MyGM means I don’t care if I spend one more minute in MyCareer. On the court, some smart new tweaks let you get an extra boost to the accuracy of your jump shots by pulling straight down on the right stick, but you can also just press the “shoot” button if that doesn’t feel comfortable. In addition, you can now use the right stick to go for more varied steal attempts, or you can just continue to press the steal button. Again, it’s all about options and NBA 2K17 provides plenty of them. Allen Iverson’s recent induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame feels all too perfect, as NBA 2K17’s focus on chaining together crossovers and spins seems like an homage to the signature style of its former longtime cover athlete.Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

In previous NBA 2K games I often felt stuck in animations and not in control at all times, but now it’s much easier to string together dribbling maneuvers and put together a sequence that can leave defenders behind. This same type of flow carries over to shooting, where for the first time it feels like I have an ability to pull up off the dribble and really play in the space between the three-point line and the paint.  This idea of pace and space is all-important in an NBA video game. The added area creates more unique opportunities to score, and that leads to things like more creative passing, more fouls, and more scrambling on defense. The loopy passing that crops up here and there is especially frustrating because it interrupts some chances to really zip the ball around the perimeter to the open man for an open jump shot. The same can be said for some AI players still not quite running the right lanes during a fast break. On some level, though, the passing not always being pinpoint-accurate does perhaps save the defense. Shooters like J.J. Redick and Damian Lillard feel especially terrifying this season, and the AI is even smart enough to step back and make sure to get both feet behind the line for a three-pointer rather than a long two-point shot. On top of that, now that rebounds can be tipped out rather than just corralled, I’ve even seen instances where DeAndre Jordan tips a rebound back towards an open J.J. Redick for a wide-open three ball. I also need to mention that the shooting mechanics have been tweaked so all “green” or perfect releases lead to made baskets. In the past, “green” didn’t always mean the shot would be successful, which could be confusing as there was no clear reason why getting a perfect release mattered. So thank you for clearing that up, 2K.

NBA 2K17 – Legend Edition.

Having this level of control all over the court is great, except when that control then vanishes. I can’t control how much heat to put on a pass; I can’t control how long it takes players at times to get in position to start a play; and I can’t control moments where I’m pushed 10 feet away from the ball handler on defense just because some random big man pushed me backwards under the rim. When things like that happen there’s no recourse, so the outcomes can sometimes feel unfair.  All of the action on the court is highlighted by commentary that remains the best and most varied in the sports genre. David Aldridge is now roaming the sidelines, and Greg Anthony and Kevin Harlan are joined by a rotating crew of new announcers, such as Chris Webber, Clark Kellogg, Doris Burke, Brent Barry, and Steve Smith. However, having this amount of variety doesn’t come without some flaws. Chris Webber sounds like he’s eating his microphone at times, and Steve Smith is sort of boring. But Doris Burke and Brent Barry really shine. NBA 2K17 feels like it was made by a team of people who live and breathe basketball. Everything from the meticulous presentation to MyCareer mode’s practice drills exhibits the care and attention that only come from people who get whisked away in midday dreams of playing in the NBA–and that makes it doubly easy for you to do the same. This is the first time I’ve delved past an NBA 2K game’s Play Now and Blacktop modes, and in witnessing how great this game is, I’m beginning to wonder why I never did so in the first place. 2K’s NBA games are known for smooth, fluid play, and true to form, 2K17 allows you to move the ball around the court, mixing in advanced ball maneuvers and fancy footwork with ease.POSTAL 4: No Regerts

Employing the right stick’s ability to juke is when you’ll really feel the satisfaction of faking out an opponent on your way to the net. It’s empowering to know that you outsmarted the opposition, and it’s a credit to the game’s controls that complex moves are accessible and feel natural. Once you grow accustomed to the potential at your fingertips–a fast process–NBA 2K17 feels like a game of instincts, rather than a calculated series of inputs. Of course, victory wouldn’t feel as sweet if the AI didn’t put up a good fight, and given its prowess, you need to employ smart positioning and playmaking to get to the hoop. Experimenting with the tools at hand is as essential as it is satisfying when you put a winning strategy into action–and humbling when you’re stuffed by a clever opponent. The AI isn’t going to fall for the same trick every time, so mixing up your strategies is required–passing the ball to your best player in an attempt to score three points every time isn’t going work. Finding out the best way to tackle each shift on the court is continually rewarding and engages you wholeheartedly in the excellent on-court action. To get your bearings, you can jump into the 2KU mode, which has you participate in scrimmage games, and feeds you tutorial tips as you play. Gameplay pauses as instructions and narration pop up to let you know how to pass, shoot, and retrieve the ball on defense. This can be helpful for learning the basics, but it would be a lot more effective if the game reacted to your performance and coached you appropriately rather than merely providing static direction. For example, it doesn’t let you know why you lost a jump ball or why you got a foul for trying to knock a ball loose. Without a responsive, real-time feedback system, NBA 2K17’s training mode feels more like a primer than a full-fledged tutorial.

AN EPIC VOYAGE AWAITS.

When it’s game time, NBA 2K17’s commentators, camera angles, and mid-game events–such as mascot antics and halftime dunk shows–demonstrate incredible realism and attention to detail. Fans get excited at the right moments, with intercepted passes and turnovers riling them up the most. The only downside to the whole broadcast setup is the pre-game and half-time shows; they sound good, but the virtual hosts are stiff. It often looks like someone’s pulling the strings of realistic Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith puppets. Thankfully, they’re a relatively small part of the package, and the rest of the presentation, particularly the commentary and fans, makes every game feel like you’re playing in the NBA. Playing with authentic teams and players scratches the NBA itch, but MyCareer offers a different kind of game, where you create a player and master a single position as you make your way through college and into the pros. Cutscenes are infrequent, but they add some nice background to you and your life through moments of playing video games with a friend or talking to your excited, caring mom over the phone. They’re not super impactful, but the way everyone in your life reacts to you and your playing makes you want to do better on the court. Playing as a single athlete can feel restrictive in some sports games, but playing your part on a team in 2K17 is thoroughly rewarding. Setting up a teammate for an alley-oop or having someone pass to you so you can make that key three-point shot fosters an awesome sensation that feels like real teamwork, where you have total ownership over your role. Sure, you can call for the ball every second and hog it like Kobe, but you’d be robbing yourself of the satisfaction that comes with skillful cooperation. You can actually improve your game by participating in practices–various types of mini games.Creeper World 4

They might challenge you to sink as many alternating three-point shots as possible, shoot the ball from a specific spot, or play a game of one-on-one. Most of these challenges are fun, making the choice to go to the gym before a game a lot easier. Outside of playing basketball, MyCareer encourages you to take part in life off the court. You can attend promotional and fan events to get a little extra currency to spend on attributes and upgrades. These amount to nothing more than selecting a menu item, watching your player walk out the door, and then getting a message saying you completed the event. The lack of interactivity with these events is fine, but the amount of time it takes for this process to finish feels a bit excessive. Additionally, you get text messages from friends, players, and coaches, and the way you respond will change the way certain people react to you. These moments of texting are often funny and add a bit of life in between games and practices that’s much appreciated. Ben Eagle: Expansion. The most detailed franchise mode on the market goes even deeper in 2K17. The most exciting addition? Expansion teams. Want to bring the Supersonics back to Seattle? Done. Want to honor Harambe with a professional basketball franchise? The Harambaes are just a click away. And if you don’t see a design you like, you can start from scratch, creating everything from the team logo to the arena. And the fun doesn’t stop there. 2K nails every detail of expansion. Player protection for existing teams, expansion drafts to fill out the new team rosters, a smart draft lottery that grows as the league grows—it’s all there. Sure, it’s going to take a few seasons for your new Sonics to contend (remember that Year 1 Bobcats’ roster?), but that’s part of the fun. For players seeking a new challenge, this is a welcome addition.  MyGM.

JORDAN CHALLENGE RETURNS.

Where do I even start? NBA 2K17 is packed with so many great features that it’s hard to settle on just one, but if I had to pick just one, I’ll go with MyGM. My choice of MyGM could very well be tied to the fact that I’m a Knicks fan. I constantly dream about what it would be like if the Knicks were run by a competent GM and owner. With MyGM, I get to do exactly that as I take the reins and attempt to fix the mess that is the Knicks. MyGM gives you control of pretty much every aspect of running a franchise, and they’ve even added the option for expansion teams this year (see above). From creating precise substitution patterns to protecting draft picks in trades, the best franchise mode in sports has only gotten better. MyCareer mode went full Hollywood in 2016 with Spike Lee running the show. 2K17 goes to that well again with Creed writer/director Aaron Covington and the movie’s leading actor Michael B. Jordan, directing and leading the MyCareer mode action. While I’ve only scratched the surface with this new story, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen so far. The problem (and one of the biggest reasons I haven’t made it very far) is the pacing. MyCareer mode emphasizes the cinematic to create theater. On first blush, this is great. Little vignettes like your player walking off the court take you closer to the game than ever before. But after a while the cutscenes really start to slow the game down, and you’re unable to skip many of them. This is a killer flaw of the game. Think about it: You’re supposed to play this game throughout the 2016-17 season. If you aren’t sick of the pregame show and cutscenes now, you will be.  MyCareer. It’s pretty clear that a lot of time was spent developing the MyCareer mode. There are some great ideas here, and by all accounts, it is a huge improvement over the Spike Lee joint from NBA 2K16–but it still needs some work. Something plaguing this mode (and other parts of the game) is not having the option to skip cutscenes or cycle through dialogue.

I understand that 2K wants you to experience the story, but it’s simply too time consuming to sit through cutscene after cutscene. The idea of living the life of a star NBA player and immersing yourself into that world is great. However, people generally just want to get on the court and play some ball. Leveling up your player is also a chore. You have to spend hours grinding away in practice drills to raise your skill level, which can quickly become tiring. And if you’re strapped for currency, attending fan and promotional events to gain more seems like a waste of time. The MyCareer mode will likely be divisive among fans of the game. It offers you a unique experience, but the journey to NBA superstardom is painfully slow. While 2K17 is a good game, it’s really just a subtle improvement over last year’s version. If you’re looking to jump into the 2K series for the first time, buying 2K17 is a no-brainer. If you’re a lifelong fan of the series, it’s a harder sell. League expansion is fun, MyCareer is improved and the game mechanics and graphics meet the typically high standards of 2K. But there’s no one standout feature or improvement that makes this a must-buy for me. No question. While I have played my fair share of games of NBA 2K over the last few years, I must disclose that I have not owned a copy of NBA 2K since 2K14. That drought aside, I consider myself to be a lifelong fan of the series and have poured countless hours into this series over the last decade. If you’re a hardcore hoops head, this is an easy decision (and your only option, really). The NBA 2K series has long reigned supreme as the gold standard for sports games. They’ve nailed the hardcourt experience for years, and it’s certainly no different here. Like Madden, there has been a lot of fine tuning under the hood over the years, and the gameplay truly shines here.

Add in all the different modes and features, and the replay value alone on this game makes it well worth your money. I know there are a lot of terrible reviews out there for this game, and a lot of the criticisms are somewhat fair, but so far at least, it seems to me that the negatives have been greatly exaggerated. I’ve never played NBA2k before so it doesn’t bother me that it’s similar to previous versions. (I can see why that would be very frustrating if you’re someone who buys the game every year.) I play on PC without a controller (which the game warns you not to do for optimal gaming experience). Nevertheless, by playing with the key binding quite a bit at the beginning till I got comfortable and memorizing the mapping, I haven’t had many ongoing problems from there. I’ve had only very minimal performance issues with the game (I know that was a common complaint.) And personally, I don’t think the story cut scenes are nearly as bad as some say. It’s not great, but it’s not THAT terrible. A lot of people also complained that its pay to play, which is somewhat true. However, I’ve enjoyed playing so far without spending any real money, and I expect I will be able to slowly grind my character without spending money and still mostly enjoy the game. Between each game I do all the drills available and focus on getting better at one new skill each time. The games are then kind of like a test to see how well I can execute the new skill. All the games as well as side quests, daily rewards, etc. rack up enough VC to improve the character a bit between each game. it’s still been fun to work on getting better at a new skill or two each game. The players stats matter, but I’ve found that at least at my low stat level, my skill as far as timing, choice of play, etc. matters probably almost as much.Reaper Tale of a Pale Swordsman
