Mia and the Dragon Princess Free Download Gopcgames.com Mia and the Dragon Princess Free Download Gopcgames.com Interactive games are not new, but they have been scarce lately. Since Telltale Games closed and re-opened, many gamers have been eager for a new game where our choices matter. With the bar high thanks to titles like The Wolf Among Us, some companies have tried to thread these waters to no avail. Wales Interactive has taken its shot to make an interactive film or game, and while it shines in many areas, it falls flat in others. A game with exciting moments that get dragged down due to popular trends makes this a product worth playing just a few times. We’ll talk more in-depth about Mia and the Dragon Princess in our review of this game. The story follows Marshanda, a mysterious character that shows up one day in present-day London with a strange device on her wrist. On the other hand, we have Mia, your average girl who works at a bar with almost no customers and dreams of adventure. A bit cliché, but it works. When both characters meet, the plot starts with mysteries around every corner. During our first run, which lasted more than an hour, we had more questions than we should’ve. Gopcgames.com

Players can use a variety of weapons and spells to defeat their foes.

We were disappointed with our ending as it ended up so abruptly that our reaction was: “Is that it?”. Thankfully, we decided to play the game once more and check the Story Tree; we have to say, it was the best choice. Given how this game lets you make choices and tailor your playthrough, you must play the game several times. We were so happy to get a different ending during our second run. In it, we learn more about Marshanda’s past and why the villain, played by Paul McGann, was adamant about getting his hands on Mia’s bar and the device on Marshanda’s wrist. While the subsequent runs of the game were enjoyable, parts of the story fall flat thanks to forced humor that we can only think the developers tried to copy from movies like Avengers, and it didn’t work. Without spoiling, there are several moments where the game tries to get serious, and then a forced joke comes into play. This kills the game’s flow and removes the little seriousness the story wants to deliver. On the other hand, several moments are genuinely funny, organic, and not forced at all. Again, without spoiling, we can only say one thing: glowsticks.

Multi-optional storytelling with 10 different outcomes

Overall, the story is sometimes predictable with every cliché in the book of stories like Indiana Jones or Uncharted. Still, sadly, instead of delivering them the right way, some decisions make the plot weaker than it should be. On the other hand, we have the visual effects. We can’t blame the developers for not putting a lot of budget into them, but, dear lord, they are bad. Again, don’t let this discourage you, many things in this game are great, but the effects aren’t one of them. You have some terrible 3D effects and explosion VFX that needed more time in the oven because they stand out badly. We were not expecting Marvel’s quality on this game, but more work on the effects would’ve been great. As we mentioned, these moments are scarce, and they might happen once or twice during your playthrough. Sadly, some occur in big or emotional moments that take away anything that is supposed to be serious from that scene. Yet, the way the takes were made was flawless, which got us back to the game after several runs. As we mentioned, the game has a vast story tree that you can check as you play to see what options you’re missing. Farabel Switch NSP

Following this mechanic will unlock various endings, making any run much better. Our only complaint is that there should be an option to skip the initial cinematic because it takes a while to get to the first big choice. Besides that, some values change depending on how Mia acts. We have stats like bravery, intelligence, and so on. We think these stats were unnecessary, but it is an excellent detail to see what type of Mia you’re making for your playthrough. Other than that, you have two options to choose from whenever you get the chance and a streamer mode to pause while you try to decide. We welcome these quality-of-life improvements, but there’s room to improve the experience. Beginning with a short animated sequence (think along the lines of the O-Ren Ishii back story in Kill Bill Volume 1) we are introduced to the character of Marshanda a kick-ass Javanese Princess from hundreds of years ago. She is shown being saved from her enemies by pirate Red Kat Morgan and the sequence ends with her sailing off into a frozen landscape. The game then switches to live-action (with a few more animated sequences unlockable) in modern-day London.

A Stain Upon Humanity?

Somehow, Marshanda is seen running barefoot along the Southbank of London (a particularly hazardous activity considering the hypodermic needles that I have seen around there) in nothing but a hospital gown with a particularly unfortunate brown stain on its tail end which is certainly a break from the norm as Pirates usually try to avoid the Black Spot! Following a tracking device on her wrist, she soon bumps into deadbeat waitress Mia who saves her from a run-in with the (very hazardous to women if the recent press reports are anything to go by) Metropolitan Police. I will give no more away here plot-wise, but there then follows a full-blown pirate treasure-hunting adventure in a dingy basement bar on the south side of the River Thames. If that description sounds odd to you that is because this is a very odd game. Despite having fairly high production values and at least two recognisable actors, the end result is best described as coming across like a BBC children’s drama that also happens to feature violence and the shocking brutality of The Long Good Friday (which is, without doubt, the best British Gangster film of all time.) In typical FMV fashion, the player is presented with a series of choices as they work through the story. Some of these are merely fluff to pad out the action while others cause the narrative to branch off in various ways. I was able to complete my first timeline in about an hour and unlocked two of the various endings. I then played for another five hours as I tried to unlock every sequence and every ending. Mercifully, a timeline map is included in the menu to help work your way through the different story twists. This would be made easier if the resume function actually worked all of the time instead of starting the game at the beginning on some occasions which can get a bit annoying. The RB button can be used to skip previously seen footage but this too can be hit and miss so I would recommend finishing a run-through before closing the game down. Watching the same scenes repeatedly soon gets very old. To be fair though the game ran peerlessly on my Series X otherwise. The writing is generally pretty average but odd moments of genius came to light occasionally such as the milky cocktail dubbed ‘the discharge of the Light Brigade

Starring ‘Chinese Kickboxing’ Black Belt, Dita Tantang

I also found it quite amusing that the main character could be lulled into doing anything by giving her a thumbs-up sign. She may speak Javanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin as the story progresses but being in London those languages do not get her very far, whereas a smiley thumbs up will get her to kill your enemies. The fight scenes are impressively choreographed by fight coordinator, Marcus Shakesheff of Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Game of Thrones fame, are over the top and slightly amusing but things suddenly get particularly brutal when you are least expecting it. Seeing a gangster thug stab innocent bystanders to death just for trying to escape the dangerous situation they find themselves in through no fault of their own was particularly shocking. in something that comes across as rather Pantomime. The cheesy acting of McGann as the villain of the piece does not particularly help, as well as the blockbuster attempted endings which although worth applauding for effort end up looking pretty cheap in their execution. One again, the character attributes earned through choice selection seemed to have no real bearing on anything. Farmer’s Dynasty

The choices they make can have a significant impact on the game’s narrative and ending.

This is a fun way to spend an afternoon if you are not expecting too much and enjoy these types of games, as I do. The narrative is interesting enough even if it does seem to be missing a few things after seeing the various finales. The animated sections are particularly impressive which makes me suspect that this product could have delivered so much more with an appropriate budget. There is, however, scope for a sequel if you successfully navigate your way to two particular endings.Mia and the Dragon Princess is worth a look if you are a fan of this type of game. Impressive acting talent is present although they are in full-on ‘hamming it up’ mode, the fight scenes are well choreographed and there are a few killer lines of dialogue. If the idea of a children’s TV drama mixed with a brutal British gangster film appeals to you, this could be a dream come true. Mia and the Dragon Princess is an interactive video game littered with expectations while having little to live up to. The live-action video game is about a barmaid named Mia whose entire life is disrupted when a stranger who cannot speak English enters her life.

To make matters worse, a group of violent thugs is after the mysterious young woman. Your decisions will change their lives forever. With a few exceptions, there are not many great — or even good — full-motion video (FMV) games. This works in the favor of Mia and the Dragon Princess since there is little to compare it to. The flip side is, technology and video games have become better since FMV games were popular in the ’90s. Even fan favorites that use 16 bit or 2D graphics bring a modern twist. The most obvious way in which gaming has changed is in the storytelling. The days of simply going to a castle and saving a princess are gone. Gamers expect fully developed characters and plot lines. Mia and the Dragon Princess does not provide either. There is simply too much going on. The game involves pirates, a centuries-old mystery, a character who has been frozen in time, and a whole lot of reveals. It sounds like normal video game fare because it is. The main issue is nothing is ever developed. Games should take players away on amazing adventures to fantastic places, but Mia and the Dragon Princess neglects to provide anything engaging.
