Kenshi Free Download Unfitgirl In my time with Kenshi, I’ve crossed swamps so vast that I haven’t dared return. I’ve been beaten shitless by a pack of goats that were intended to feed my rabble of listless nomads. I’ve been a shopkeeper and a thief, a lone wanderer and a slave, and I’ve been an entire community of people working together to—one day—erect our own city in the wasteland. One day. None of these events were part of questlines. There’s no such regimentation in Kenshi, no tangible sense of scripted behaviour, just a ragged web of vicious systems so myriad that they sometimes tangle and fumble and descend into absurdity. But there is a cold order to Kenshi too, a formidable degree of depth that’s as impressive as it is stubborn. Upon creating your squad of up to six starting characters, you’re unceremoniously dumped into a dauntingly large post-apocalyptic world that looks like Mad Max were it set in feudal Japan. All of your skills start at or around zero, and you work on them simply by doing. There are no special abilities or spellcraft, and you’ll probably spend your first several hours as a lowly scavenger—sticking to the shadows, levelling up your stealth, and scurrying in after skirmishes between the various factions and fauna to loot the dead. Beyond that? Perhaps you search the wilderness for artefacts or lore titbits, hunt down bounties for the myriad factions, join up with anti-slavers, or just set up shop on a busy trade route and try to make an honest living. Through bar-crawling and chance encounters with escaped slaves and other vagabonds, you can recruit new people, who you then take control of just like your original characters. You can have several squads in different parts of the world if you wish, or train new members as farmers and labourers so that you can build a self-sustaining settlement. At this point, Kenshi becomes a surprisingly effective management game as you research technologies, construct buildings, and assign people long lists of automated tasks like mining, farming and construction. Settlements present their own dangers: out in the wilderness you’ll face bandit and animal attacks, while settling near cities may subject you to strict taxation and other regional rules (one theocratic faction actually makes it a punishable offence not to pray regularly). There are a few missions you can pick up by talking to people, but the best stories are those that emerge organically out of Kenshi’s systems. For instance, in the early game, my first companion and I we were beset by slavers, who took one of us captive while the other managed to escape. I licked my wounds, gathered myself, and took it upon myself to rescue my companion. After a good few hours of scavenging, I saved up enough money to hire a mercenary band. We raided the slave camp and rescued my comrade, but it didn’t end there

Dynamic world

As his shaved-head-and-shackles look meant that slavers and authorities would identify him as an escapee and attempt to recapture him. So began a survival experience deep in a swampy wilderness while his bounty expired. There are so many little layers here that the narrative possibilities feel endless. Kenshi’s mechanics and UIs have an arcane MMO feel, which can get cumbersome as your group’s numbers grow. Combat is automated, though you can make minor tweaks like defensive postures, ranged attacks and play around with squad formations. Movement, meanwhile, is mouse-based, with the WSAD keys controlling the camera. While the streamlined combat is functional given how many people you can end up controlling, things can get pretty fiddly when you’re managing inventories, transferring items between 10 or more people, and trying to get your settlement running as efficiently as possible. The early going can be cruel; basic survival plans can be easily derailed by a city guard who plants drugs on you then demands money you don’t have, or by finding yourself deep in a region inhabited by vicious alien giraffes. It can all get a bit grindy too; it takes a long time before you can handle yourself in a fight, a long time to grow food, and a long time to get around. Even though Kenshi is capable of conjuring great scenarios to break up these anaemic stretches, it doesn’t lessen the slog.  Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Switch NSP

But after around 30 hours, I still feel like I’ve so much to uncover. I’ve still got to expand from a dustbowl community to a fortress; to send an expedition of battle-hardened warriors out into distant wilds while back at the township artisans and workers rake in profits thanks to the clockwork-like regimen I created. Kenshi is huge, amoral, and opaque enough that I’ll be deciphering it it for a very long time. I happily headed to the city ready to sell and, of course, become rich. I deserved it! After hours of suffering; After fighting, breaking stone, working the land and rummaging through corpses, he began to glimpse a promising future in the bleak post-apocalyptic world of Kenshi .; but how wrong was I. In a second, almost without realizing it, I had a score of starving bandits behind me who only wanted to beat me to death and steal food. I ran. Much. But it wasn’t enough; They were getting closer! So I started to drop ballast. I dropped the few weapons I was carrying on me; also some precious stones, minerals and other objects. I left a trail of breadcrumbs… which in this case was a hodgepodge of valuables. And in the end, as I saw that I couldn’t escape even that way, I undressed. I threw everything to the ground in order to outrun my deadly pursuers. That’s how I got to the big city. I wanted to do it like a king, like the most successful merchant of all, but I ended up doing it begging for help, naked, with dozens of thugs behind me.

Hardcore RPG

This is Kenshi, an ambitious role-playing adventure that is born and grows on the idea of freedom . And this is absolute. You can do whatever you want. There are no limits, because there are no predetermined objectives that force you to go in one direction or another. Here it is you who writes your own story Of him; who decides if he becomes a dangerous mercenary, a great merchant, the leader of a band of looters or the happiest of farmers. You can enslave others or else suffer this terrible fate yourself. They can put you in jail, or cripple you in such a way that after any fight, you end up without an arm, or a leg, or dead! And life will go on, as if nothing, because free will governs the lives of the inhabitants that swarm the wasteland that this challenging RPG recreates. The sensation is incredible but it can also be hard, quite rough, considering that nobody tells you where to go or what to do. It is practice, trial and error that will help you understand and survive the many dangers that await here; And yet, you may still feel lost, lacking guidance, despite the many tutorials the game seeks to smooth your way into this crazy, chaotic post-apocalyptic world. There is a maxim that defines the action of Kenshi . You are one more; one of many poor wretches who fight to survive one more day in this Mad Max-style world that the game recreates. You don’t have any unique abilities, or more health than others, or greater skill with handling weapons. You are plain and simple… a nobody. And it’s not bad. The idea is great because in the end, this RPG is about surviving, not saving the world . “I don’t like being told what to do or how to play,” Kenshi chief Chris Hunt said at the time., who for about six years worked alone on the project. “I don’t want to be offered quests, I don’t want a premade character that’s stronger than the rest to start with. What’s the fun in this?” Continues the creative, who has spent 12 years developing Kenshi .It is a risky decision because, as I said, you start the game without an objective or destination to go to. What will you do to survive? That is the question that gives rise to your adventure and as it happened with the great The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , it is the element that gives rise to writing your own story; because, based on your actions and encounters with other characters, you have anecdotes to share with other players. Each game is unique, each user lives their own role-playing adventure, and it is an aspect that enhances the video game. On the basis its action is very similar to that of any other survival adventurein the sense not only of eating so as not to die of hunger; It is also important to collect raw materials, research new technologies, craft weapons and tools, and even build an entire city.

No compromise

The freedom is absolute because you can also ignore all this and dedicate yourself to looting; be a scoundrel stealing and murdering. No one is going to judge you for it. “Be good, bad, a businessman, a thief, live in a city, in the desert, travel alone, in hordes, build fortresses, raze a city. Kenshi will not limit you or restrict your personal style of play” , reads the official description of a video game that presents a world without separate zones of more than 870 square kilometers , reaching dimensions similar to those of the classic Daggerfall of the well-known saga The Elder Scrolls. Visually, this is reflected in a varied environment, with a great diversity of locations, which hide great dangers and exciting mysteries inside. This is something that will motivate us to go out there; to move away from our comfort zone to try to find out what has happened in the world around us, although as I pointed out before, sometimes the game can be so hard and lacking in details, that you feel lost without knowing what to do. When it comes to fighting Kenshi is very defiant in the opening stages of the adventure. You’re a poor, filthy wretch who has nowhere to drop dead, and that in practice means that even the most vile and miserable creature can end your life if you’re not careful. Practice is the best teacher, I said it before, but it’s not just a slogan. Suffering a defeat, even if it means losing an arm, can make us stronger for future confrontations. The recovery will be long and painful, also expensive if we look for a good prosthesis, but there are few things as satisfying as overcoming these challenges and moving forward. Practice. Everything revolves around her because this is an RPG without levels or classes to use. Each of the characters you control will improve their skill based on the actions they perform, very much in line with Skyrim and other similar titles. Fighting with certain weapons will make us stronger in their use, just as cultivating the land will make us experts in agriculture, or healing the wounded will make us great doctors. The progression , although slow at times, is satisfying because you feel that each act has consequences, giving you the freedom to configure a very diverse team of survivors. You can up to 30 charactersat your expense, organizing them into groups that can automate certain tasks, such as eating, working or defending so that the experience is not an absolute chaos. What happens when it comes to fighting? Kenshi is a very challenging video game that does not forgive mistakes, and although when you reach a high level a single character can kill entire groups of looters -his level does not grow at our rate-, it is convenient to use the strategy so as not to suffer more than the bill. In this sense, we have actions such as “mocking” that will allow our rivals to focus on the character with the best defensive capacity while the rest attack from afar

You will see this if you accept mercenary contracts, following in the footsteps of dangerous outlaws who will put your skills to the test. Or defending your domains from the attack of ninjas and other gangs of great power. Anything can happen in Kenshi’s world, so we can’t get stuck. You have to move There are so many possibilities, so many crazy stories to live in this video game, that it’s hard not to get excited when you enter ancient ruins, or visit a new society. There are details that I love, like that extremely racist holy nation that asks you to hand over non-human characters, so perhaps I would have liked to find a better plot base that would somehow subtly guide us through the vast world of Kenshi. It is a difficult video game that has no compassion, and that can also scare more than one due to a discreet technical sectionwhich, obviously, is not its best virtue. It’s certainly an ugly game with a somewhat outdated user interface, but all of that fades into the background when you discover what’s hidden inside. It’s a game that you can put hundreds of hours into and still be amazed, still enjoy unique stories, and that’s Kenshi’s great strength. It is difficult to recommend its purchase because there are few games so ambitious when it comes to freedom of action. There are no aids, no guides, no big goals to mark the course of the adventure.
