A goal-oriented experience

Players will also visit expeditions to find rare materials and fight in auto battles. The game takes place on a planet in an unknown part of the universe. Centuries ago, this planet was full of life. Then, darkness appeared and took it all away. The Illumi, the world’s inhabitants, tried to stop the blight but couldn’t do it on time. So as a last resort, they created an automated system to save the world. It’s now up to the player to control this high-tech system and restore light to save Illuminaria. I quite like resource management games and I find this one in particular very fun, entertaining, relaxing and fantastic. I really like the art style and the soundtrack gives a very special touch to the game experience. I have already finished the first region and I can share with you that since I played it I have been hooked. I highly recommend it. The Illumi created robots in the hope that they could fight against the darkness which has spread across the lands of Illuminaria. Each of the five regions has the choice of three difficulties, Easy, Normal and Hard. After deciding which difficulty to play you will find yourself on the region’s world map. Each of the regions has a number of caves, which are the main areas you’ll visit and have to complete a number of objectives at each. Upon entering a cave, you will notice an area cut into the ground, this area will be your warehouse where you will store your resources. Before you can store any resources, you will first need to create a wall, sectioning off an area depending on how big you wish to create your warehouse. Once you have walled off your warehouse a Plus Sign will appear, selecting this sign will allow you to add a resource which will be stored in that warehouse until it is required. The resources will be gathered by a number of robots, they’ll become a swarm of robots as you progress. Some of the resources can be found around the outside of the warehouse space, so you might want to create a warehouse close to a resource to save time on collecting. Some resources will require multiple resources and the robots will fetch them and then deposit the resource in the right warehouse. If you’re in a hurry for some resources you can hit the priority button and have those robots rush over and start collecting the resources you need in a hurry. You have your basic resources such as crystals, stone, iron and wood but you will have to unlock new resources as you progress. Other resources will have to be unlocked in the Research Tree where you will then be able craft resources such as various weapons types, fertiliser, flowers, steel, water, research points and various potions. You can also find some resources while out on an Expedition, these are special caves where you send a team of robots to investigate. These caves have multiple paths with you starting on the left of the screen and you will have to make your way to the exit on the far right of the cave. Along each path are rooms, there are three types of locations that you will visit. The types of rooms are Question Mark, Chest or Enemy, the chests are visible to you so you can plan your route. Landing on a chest will activate it, to collect its rewards you will have to normally hit a moving bar so that it lines up with a stationary bar

if you hit the mark then you’ll collect some goodies, if you miss the mark then you will lose some goodies. If you move on to a room where an enemy resides then combat will commence. You will have a number of robots who will hopefully have some weapons with them, like bow and arrow, staff and sword. You will have to place them on to the combat field and start combat, this will then run the combat automatically for you. The only thing you really have to do is add a potion or two if you have any or speed up time so that the battle is over more quickly, although battles don’t last very long. The second to last room is a Market where you can trade various items for something else. The last room you will find some hidden treasure. Rooms with a Question Mark will not reveal themselves until you move into that room, there could be a number of events which happen upon entering a room with a question mark. These rooms are more of a gamble so it’ll be up to you if you feel lucky, you could earn double resources but you could also lose plenty as well. Events such as defusing a bomb, do you cut the red or blue wire of a bomb? Do you use Tools and disarm the bomb?
