Horse Tales Emerald Valley Ranch! Switch NSP Free Download Unfitgirl Games like Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch have been around for a while now. You may have heard or even played games such as Star Stable. Then there’s the old Barbie Horse Adventures games. Horse Tales joins this collection of horse-riding games, and it doesn’t disappoint. Sure, there’s a few teething problems, but no game is perfect. It nearly is though, and if you read this review for Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch, you’ll find out why. The story of Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch isn’t overcomplicated, which is a good thing. It’s a simple set-up. Aunt Josephine has invited you to visit her at her horse ranch. When you get there, you discover that the ranch is in a bad case of disrepair. If that wasn’t bad enough, Aunt Josephine doesn’t seem that bothered, and as she’s away on vacation, she leaves it up to you to fix the place up. You might be feeling a bit resentful of Aunt Josephine at this point, but this sets in stone the gameplay, and you’ll find it’s not all that bad. Seeing as this is a horse riding game, the core gameplay of Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch is of course horse riding. It makes sense to start the gameplay section of this review talking about horse play in Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch. The first thing I should say is that the game has gone to a lot of effort with detail regarding horses. No horse is the same, and there is a lot more to the horses than I anticipated. They have names, genders, likes and dislikes, and abilities.Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

The latter two is very important. Likes will positively affect your horse in certain circumstances, while dislikes will have a negative impact. Likes and dislikes can affect how your horse behaves and rides. For example, you can have a horse who likes forests, so they’ll ride faster. However, you could also have a horse who hates dark places and won’t ride as well in tunnels and dark forests. They’ll even refuse to sprint and jump. Fortunately, you can train your horse out of their dislikes so it’s no longer a problem. Another important attribute of your horse to watch out for are abilities. There are 5 altogether: endurance, agility, luck, and charisma. These affect how your horse performs in activities such as sprinting and jumping. This is very important if you want your horse to do well in races (especially that tricky Sneaky Ways race). Sadly, you can’t seem to change your horse’s abilities with training and such. You’re stuck with what you get. If you want a horse that is faster and stronger, you’ll need to find yourself a better horse. There are two ways to get new horses: breeding and taming wild horses. Both these methods are easier than they sound. To tame a horse, you simply sneak up on it and press a few button prompts, and suddenly you have yourself a new horse. You can even check the horse’s stats before you tame it, so you can pick out the best one. Breeding is also pretty straightforward. You just need two horses, some food, and to leave it at a breeding stable for one day. Before you know it, you have a new horse, hopefully with great stats. You’ll have to build more stables to keep all your horses, but these aren’t too strenuous to put up.

The story is that Aunt Josephine has let the ranch go to ruin, and it’s up to you to restore it. The ranch you have is pretty big, and there are designated areas where you can place new buildings and even decorations such as benches, fountains, trees, and stacks of hay. The buildings you put down have important and useful purposes. You can keep horses at stables and groom them, you can wash horses at the wash station, grow crops, and build your own breeding station. You can even place down a campsite where you can sleep and get mail. You can later upgrade to a house so you can change your outfit. As you progress through the game, you unlock new buildings and decorations. It’s satisfying to watch the ranch come together as it’s restored from rack and ruin. There just feels like there’s something missing, but I can’t put my finger on what. Maybe the individual buildings feel a little lacking, or perhaps it’s the lack of flexibility where you can place buildings? To create buildings (and place bridges and ramps), you need resources. These aren’t too hard to come by. You can find all kinds of resources around the island, but what you find depends on the location. Some resources are harder to find than others, but nothing’s impossible to get. The other great thing is that when you sleep and a day passes, the resources will respawn, so you’ll never run out. Although the world of Emerald Valley can seem a bit sparse, it is populated with people. You just have to look for them.Victoria II

It might be because the world is so vast that it’s easy to miss people while you’re galloping around on your horse. When you do manage to find someone, it’s worth talking to them because they can give you tips on gameplay, give you new tasks, or gift you with items. For many, the premise of Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch will be an absolute dream. This is an open world adventure, free of combat and pressure, where you’re able to explore at your own pace, meet new people, expand your home and, primarily, take care of horses. If you’re a horse lover, there are a lot of appealing mechanics here. Not only can you ride your horse, but you can pet and groom them, engaging in adorable minigames as you do so. Put enough time into Horse Tales and you can even breed horses, housing them on your very own estate. Horse Tales kicks off as many of these games do: you’ve been summoned by your aunt to help her manage things on her ranch estate. Except… when you get there, your aunt is nowhere to be seen. And all that’s left of the estate is ruins. That’s your ultimate goal here, then: to fix up the estate to its former glory. There’s other stuff to do along the way, of course: meet the townsfolk who can help you, gather materials, and partake in a bit of horse racing. On paper, then, this all sounds rather wonderful. There’s a joy in the freedom that Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch gives to players. Exploring its world is appealing thanks to its beautiful, watercolour-effect art style.

A horseback adventure in a captivating open world.

At times, it evokes feelings of Breath of the Wild, and we reckon that’s probably the developer, Aesir Interactive’s intention. The same sort of open world that begs to be explored, but without any of the threats that bokoblins and blood moons bring. Except – and it pains us to say it, because there’s so much of Horse Tales that we really want to love – its gameplay is let down by generally poor design and programming. This is a perfect example of a game with some wonderful ideas, but rather poor execution. For example, controlling your character, whether they’re on foot or horseback, isn’t much fun. The controls are heavy and clunky, even when you adjust the sensitivity in the options. In an open space, running in a straight line, it’s fine. But find yourself in a tight corridor with bends and corners to navigate, and you’ll soon have a nightmare of a time. On horseback, manoeuvring is laborious. We’re not sure if this is partially intentional, representative of the fact that horses are temperamental and require focus and skill to successfully ride. It could be, sure, but it’s more than likely just bad controls, hampered further by an often unruly camera. It’s always fun to try out games entirely out of our taste and favorite genres, especially when a much-needed break is essential from the typical action games we play. While I was looking for such a break myself, Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch came into the scene. Even though it’s been long since I last went on a horseback adventure, Aesir Interactive on the contrary been on it for a while.WWE 2K16

They have a bit of history in making games concerning horses. Their first game Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship received many positive reviews, while Windstorm: An Unexpected Arrival had somewhat of a mixed reaction. Thus, horse enthusiasts were looking forward to Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch when it was first announced back in January 2022. The game finally launched on 3rd November with lovely graphics, an extensive map, and a wide variety of settings to explore. While it was a different type of adventure compared to the ones I recently had on Modern Warfare II, or God of War Ragnarök, looking for solid horses and scurrying about to get mats has been a lot of fun. Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch’s visuals are beautifully refreshing and will remind you of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The island is full of life and color; although each part is distinct, they are all wonderfully interconnected. There are stunning coral shores, mountain peaks, isolated woodlands, and green open areas. Most of the game’s excitement comes from just wandering about the world since there are no loading screens. The visuals will have you smiling as soon as you boot up the game. The horse movements are fantastic; at the same time, they have a sense of being alive, and they each have their different qualities, worries, and preferences. Some horses are loyal and will follow you even after you dismount; others may walk off if you ignore them. Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch gets straight into the action when you start the game. After the quick character customizations, you head to an island to spend a vacation with your aunt. But when you arrive, things go differently than planned.

Breed the finest horses according to their stats, characteristics, and colors.

Your once-grand-family estate is in shambles, and it’s up to you to bring it back to its previous state. The game indicates the tasks at the top left corner, which works as a tutorial at the beginning too. At the beginning of the game, you’re sent straight to the tack shed to pick a horse. And while you’re tasked with tons of construction work, you’re also going to make friends who support the quests for restoring estate along the way. The gist of the story is your chance to make amends with the great Félix family and reclaim your family’s previous prominence. While there isn’t any cutscene to narratives to back this story, you understand this only by looking at a photo you were holding while making your trip to the island. Thus the gameplay starts with initially asking you to collect stones, wood, bricks, etc., for construction purposes which leads you to explore the many areas of the map. The concept of collecting materials made sense because you get to travel quite a bit on horseback and get to know your horse and enjoy riding on it. The animations while you ride the horse is actually quite realistic. Unlike other horse games, the galloping (running fast that involves lifting all four feet off the ground at once) isn’t too sluggish, but the transitions between gates are smooth and realistic. While going uphill, your horse will naturally slow down and need more energy to maintain its pace.

You can maintain your pace and delay the energy drain by pressing the shift key in time with the gallop’s beat. Most surprisingly, the lead (one set of feet touches the ground ahead of the other set) changes, and moving around, turning, halting, sliding; all of it looks really natural. This is where Aesir’s experience came in handy because horse lovers will care about all these details when playing a game like this. Thankfully Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch doesn’t force you to any deeper extent for collecting building materials such as chopping trees or building quarries. These can be found lying around the map pretty much anywhere you travel, and collecting them doesn’t take much effort. A pillar shows up in places where construction is required, and it doesn’t take much effort to construct them either. Specific areas of the ranch are off-limits for construction unless you gain a certain amount of fame. You can increase your fame by competing in races, training strong horses, breeding and selling them, and also by discovering fame points throughout different locations on the map. Completing main objectives and side quests will also provide you with fame points, and these quotes will reward you with designs for construction opportunities. During your epic story, you will come across many animals, including wild horses. Learn how to tame and mount them, each one being unique, with different abilities, personality traits, preferences and training needs.

Due to the game’s nature, the horses you ride throughout the game need much of your attention, and addressing them soon becomes the game’s main focus. While their traits are randomly generated by the game, feeding, grooming, and caring for the horses are common for all. Because every horse has unique characteristics and tastes, petting them in the right spot is essential. Sugar, sunflowers, apples, peppermint, or sand carrots are among their top choices when it comes to dietary preferences. Each horse possesses five unique characteristics: endurance, agility, strength, charisma, and luck. Although their traits may vary, the majority of them are consistent, such as whether they like sandy or open fields, detest being in the dark or the forests, are nosy or lazy, and so on. While interacting with the horses, you can inspect, pet, mount, and feed them while there’s no fixed schedule or agenda that you need to follow. Also, you need to get accustomed to their different petting patterns since each horse prefers certain areas of its body parts to be petted. If you care or pet them less often, they will be less loyal to you than you’d expect. This mechanism worked surprisingly well in the game and had me wondering how the developers made horses look so natural. It’s not only how they move but also how they gain traits. For instance, if you travel for too long without brushing your house, it’ll become crusty and gain the Dirty trait.Colony Survival
