High On Life Free Download Unfitgirl High on Life is high on its own supply. It’s rare to see a video game as self-assured as this – with the development team at Squanch so confident in its vision that it’s willing to blow past conventional wisdom and settle for astral strangeness. The dedication to the bit is palpable throughout. Whether it’s from the artists, who have birthed a vibrant universe that could charitably be described as Blade Runner by way of Jim Henson; the design team, who has taken a shot at building a Metroid Prime-style shooter on a far smaller budget than Nintendo would ever assign to such a creative endeavor; or the eclectic comedians staffing the writers’ room, who could care little about anything besides filling every conceivable second of silence with sound. Subversive alien worlds teeming with distractions is the result. You can barely move without some oddity vying for your attention, and what’s incredible is that it’s only infrequently irritating. Billboards run endless, enduringly entertaining advertisements for strange in-universe products and services. A trio of trenchcoat creatures peddle warp insurance, weird goop, and alien ejaculate; a gallon of the stuff permanently, regretfully assigned to my inventory. The HUD is bombarded by spam pop-ups and donation requests for local political campaigns, even as you’re neck-deep in combat. TV sets broadcast fully-scripted game shows and forgettable feature films; I suspect that the 82 minutes I decided to spend watching 1994’s Tammy and the T-Rex (starring a young Denise Richards and Paul Walker) with Gene the paraplegic bounty hunter is time that I will never get back.Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

Nor the hour I spent making prank calls on an intergalactic telephone. There’s an Achievement permanently tied to my account now that claims I spent “15 hours at the very real in-game alien strip club” which, to all my friends and family who may one day read this High on Life review, I promise that this isn’t true. Where High on Life should collapse in on itself is with its talking weapons. The knife that is horny for blood, the launcher firing its children into combat, the pistol vehemently demanding that you shoot gloop from its trickhole, and so I could go on. As you begin collecting bounties on leaders of the G3 Cartel you gradually accrue an arsenal of big personalities, and they are as eager to assist in combat as they are to start chopping it up with every strange alien you encounter across three expansive hub worlds. The Gatlins are archetypal weapons, yes, but also stuttering, stammering stand-ins for a silent protagonist who is attempting to save their civilization from being harvested as HyberBong fuel by the space mafia. It’s a compelling twist on the squad dynamic typically employed by action games. A little louder and more intrusive than the setup you may see in something like a Gears of War or Mass Effect? For sure. But High on Life makes the best of a bold creative decision. Some of the funniest jokes are off-hand contextual comments made as you strafe and shoot your way through frantic firefights, desperately cycling between complaining weapons as you attempt to crowd-control giant ants, eliminate flying drones, and take down yellow-suited Cartel thugs as they warp into open-ended battlefields. High on Life never quite strays into bullet-hell territory, but a strand of the genre’s DNA can be found here and it makes for combat that prioritizes reaction over precision. That’s for the best, as combat is one area that would benefit from further refinement.

High On Life Rescue and team up with charismatic, talking guns to become the deadliest intergalactic bounty hunter the cosmos has ever seen.

While each of the four primary guns has clear utility, only one – Kenny, the starring starting pistol voiced by Justin Roiland – is truly dependable. Gus, a shotgun voiced by JB Smooth, lacks any real discernible kick; while Creature, the launcher voiced by Tim Robinson, and Sweezy, the armor-piercing pistol played by Betsy Sodaro, have such esoteric feedback loops that it can be difficult to truly track their effectiveness once the screen starts crawling with enemies. This issue is particularly pronounced in the eight boss battles which underpin the adventure – largely flat encounters which have big ideas and routine execution. Aliens come to Earth to abduct humans and turn them into an intergalactic product? Yes, that’s the plot of Peter Jackson’s debut film Bad Taste. You may not have seen it, but I would be shocked if Justin Roiland hasn’t. It seems like the kind of movie he’d like, y’know? Not that High on Life is a blatant rip-off or anything. I’m just saying it seems like a bit of an homage. I know people are probably pretty sure it’s a lot like Rick and Morty too, and it absolutely is. But, if you like that show, this is a very good thing, as Roiland’s brand of humor is in fine form here. But it’s mixed with the basic premise of Bad Taste — sort of. Sorry, I won’t mention that movie again. I’ve always really liked it, is the thing, so you should watch it if you haven’t seen it. The premise of High on Life is… well, I already told you the gist in the last paragraph. I did. You can go back and re-read it if you don’t believe me. Unless you’re just skimming and you don’t read introductions. Anyway, an alien cartel called the G3 is selling humans as drugs to other aliens. The protagonist meets up with a homeless alien bounty hunter and sets out to decimate the G3 with the help of several talking guns called Gatlians.Project Winter

The main gun, Kenny, is voiced by Justin Roiland and he basically talks like Morty. But you probably expected that. The game is very funny. It didn’t have me in stitches the entire time or anything, but I laughed a lot. There’s an absolute mountain of swearing, some gross-out humor, and a lot of jokes centered on murder. But you’re a bounty hunter, so it fits. High on Life isn’t just funny, mind you. The actual narrative is compelling in and of itself and I actually ended up caring about several of the characters, including the Gatlians. But it’s hard not to when they’re voiced by such comedy favorites as Tim Robinson of I Think You Should Leave (who astoundingly goes the whole game without screaming at anybody. Well, not the gun he plays, anyway. He voices some NPCs, too) and JB Smoove of Curb Your Enthusiasm fame. If I had to describe High on Life in terms of another video game, I’d say it’s a lot like Rage. The first one, though. Except this one’s ending doesn’t feel like it happens partway through a larger story. I will say that the ending was far shorter than I would have liked, as the game just kind of stops after the main threads are wrapped up before using Polaroids with writing on them to work as an epilogue. The game isn’t open world, but it does have three large areas you can travel to and from via the Bounty 5000 machine, which lets you pick what areas to where you’d like to warp. These areas have a lot of room for exploration with plenty of chests to track down that contain money, upgrades, and collectibles. You’ll be hitting up a small city, the adjacent slums, a forest planet, and a desert planet. You can go back to them whenever you want to hunt for chests and some can only be opened using new equipment you acquire.

Navigate dynamic and changing worlds that range from a jungle paradise, to a city built inside an asteroid, the hub of the cosmos.

The areas are well designed and look awesome, so exploring them is appealing. Although there’s no map, which can make finding your way quite difficult. High on Life has a waypoint function that keeps you on task, but I don’t think you can use this while exploring outside of a main mission. Getting lost can be a real possibility. Finishing one bounty didn’t have a waypoint function available, so I had to wander until I found the warp point. But I discovered some good stuff on the way, at least. The story structure is built around accepting bounties to kill G3 leaders. You have to track them down, kill them, and return with proof to collect cash. Cash is used to buy new upgrades at a pawn shop and several smaller stores you’ll find out in the wild. You’ll buy upgrades for your suit, your ammo capacity, and specific mods for your guns/teammates. Squanch Games is back with its new title. Unlike their previous titles, which include Accounting and Trover Saves the Universe, High on Life is an accumulation of the years of feedback the team has received and a level of writing that only this team can deliver. Of course, Justin Roiland fans will be quick to want to jump in if only to hear his signature humor, but I believe this game offers more to any who wishes to experience a fun, over-the-top action game. High on Life allows you to choose a character before you are whisked away to another planet to take on the role of a bounty hunter and save the human race. It’s a heavy burden, but hey, someone has to do it. An alien race known as the G3 Cartel has captured Earth, but now that you’re in your new role, you will hunt down their strongest supporters while earning a few Pesos on the side. The story is where High on Life puts a significant emphasis on.MURDERED: SOUL SUSPECT

While you can approach this adventure at your own pace, taking things slowly will provide some of the most humorous NPC writing in any game. This game is just so self-aware of the gaming genre and gamers. An NPC just helped you, and you try to pull the trigger. Well, they’ll ask why you were about to kill them. Constantly throughout the adventure, I was wondering if I was just a basic gamer as the characters would call out everything I did. On the other hand, perhaps gamers are just that predictable, and I wasn’t as unique as I thought. Suffice it to say, I loved it, and I wouldn’t consider myself a Rick and Morty fan, either. Although the voice of Justin Roiland is close to his portrayal of Morty, there are a few personality differences. However, I might be getting ahead of myself. On the topic of Roiland, he lends his voice to the first weapon you acquire. Known as Galatians, players will receive one after each bounty. Galatians each have their own personality and are voiced by some prominent actors in the community. The best moments are when they commit to your actions as you explore the environment. Taking too long in an area may even elicit a comment telling you to hurry up or provide hints to move on. The weapons are exceptionally creative here. Each feels different and has multiple use cases, including abilities that aid in the traversal. For example, visitable planets have platforming sections that require using these abilities in various instances. From moving platforms to slowing down time, I enjoyed just how versatile these weapons are. There are also environmental hazards that you can use against enemies to make combat a little easier.

Complete hunter challenges, meet weird, fun and hilarious characters, collect an array of alien technology, and more!

Enemies in the game do get a tad bit repetitive. However, this isn’t due to the limited variety, but just how you face off against wave after wave of them. I feel like these encounters are simply there to make stages a little longer, but I had no complaints about the length of the stages. Hence, I wish there were so many waves of the same enemy type, especially when you need to clear out every enemy and one seems to be lost in some random room. Boss battles are each the highlight of the levels. They are challenging and force you to utilize skills you’ve acquired throughout the stage. However, they feel like significant bullet sponges as their health bar inches down. Regardless, they are memorable fights that deliver some hilarious interactions. The level design encourages exploration, if not to interact with every NPC on the field, but to search for Pesos and collectibles. Still, you can just as quickly run through the levels and follow the quest marker to get the bounty taken care of. It’s possible to return to levels, though, which you’ll likely want to do once you’ve acquired new weapons that can unlock new paths. When it comes to the overall experience, each interaction felt unique. Due to the various choices you can make during dialogue, you’ll shape the conversation. I’m unsure if they change the story significantly, but the conversation paths are fun to witness. I mostly enjoyed the level of discovery no matter what you do. You can purchase upgrades that speed up traversal, which you’ll definitely want because running never feels fast enough.

From the Co-Creator of Rick & Morty and Solar Opposites, comes High On Life. Fresh out of high school with no job and no ambition, you’ve really got nothing going for you until an alien cartel that wants to get high off humanity invades Earth. Now, you and a team of charismatic talking guns must answer the hero’s call and become the deadliest intergalactic bounty hunter the cosmos has ever seen. Travel to a variety of biomes and locations across the cosmos, go up against the nefarious Garmantuous and his gang of goons, collect loot, meet unique characters, and more, in the latest comedy adventure from Justin Roiland! This is a game that knows its audience and delivers. However, depending on your pace, I’m afraid those who attempt to rush through will likely not receive the complete package. Further, the tight gunplay weighs on the player wave after wave of enemies who have some rather comical doll physics. Graphically, High on Life is colorful and vibrant, which clashes well with its crude humor and graphic scenes. There are a few oddities that I encountered, but nothing in the realm of game-breaking. The developer also promises a day-one patch that fixes some outlining issues. High on Life knows what it wants to be and delivers that experience to players who likely want the same thing. The level of humor and writing is on another level. Still, you’ll want to pace yourself, if only not to grow tired of the waves of enemies you’ll encounter, which is thankfully broken up with platforming sections and standout interactions. The phrase, “Made by gamers, for gamers,” has never rung truer than when describing High on Life.

I occasionally heard some concern that the fact the guns talked would lead to Roiland improvising for hours on end, but that really isn’t the case. Your guns are decently developed, personality-wise, and none of them are annoying. Roiland voices Kenny, who is your pistol. Kenny stutters, stammers his way through sentences, and often swears up a storm, but he’s mostly normal. He’s also the absolute best gun. Kenny is so good that I didn’t use the other guns much, save for occasionally Gus, who is a shotgun. You also get a machine gun named Sweezy and a gun named Creature that births tiny creatures that attack foes, but I simply didn’t see much reason to use them. The guns have the occasional quip or opinion to share while you have them out, but I always enjoyed listening to what they had to say. But High on Life is a first-person shooter, so it needs more than just humor. Thankfully, the shooting is better than I expected — this is a full-featured game. The different guns are all mostly satisfying to use and the hit detection is very good. Headshots result in enemy heads popping off, followed by streams of blood. They mostly have goop armor that flies off as you shoot it. The issue is that there isn’t much enemy variety, and there are really only four guns. So the action can feel a bit samey. But the amount on offer is perfectly acceptable for the game’s length. I’d wager it’ll take most players 10-12 hours to get through, depending on how much side stuff there is. There is room to focus your playstyle, though, as each gun has an ability that’s useful in both combat and traversal. Sweezy can slow down time in pockets and Creature can temporarily brainwash enemies. These abilities are fun to use and the traversal itself is a particular highlight. In Sound Mind
