Hell is Others Free Download Unfitgirl I like fluffy cosy experiences as much as the next guy, but sometimes I just want pure danger in my video games. Whether it’s frantically sailing away from Galleon of villainous pirates in Sea of Thieves or hoping the bubble is merciful in a tense game of Fortnite, all of my favourite multiplayer experiences bring out the danger every now and then. Some games might start to take this a little too far though, like the aptly named Hell is Others. Our hero Adam Smithson has a pretty miserable life truth be told. Living day after day in a tiny apartment would be bad enough, but that apartment is in Century City. This nightmare locale is packed full of sinister anthropomorphic animals and terrifying demons, and after a mysterious stranger drops a Bonsai tree off at your apartment you’ll need to take the elevator down regularly if you want to keep it healthy. You might think that caring for a plant wouldn’t require a whole lot more than water from the tap, but in the world of Hell is Others plants are watered with blood. You’ll need to collect enough to keep the tree healthy by making regular runs to the surface to fight demons, and before long you’ll have some other sinister allies on your side to try and can try and profit from the excursions. Down in Century City you’ll need to use all your skill if you want to survive. Hell is Others is at its core a twin stick shooter, and Adam has a pretty limited moveset to take advantage of. Other than the odd roll and some running Adam is pretty much a point and shoot kinda guy, so expect to do a lot of running backwards and firing that pistol (until you find some better equipment at least). This would be fine if not for the fact that Adam is more than a little clunky to control, and there weren’t hundreds of potential threats littering the urban environments. The most concerning of these threats are the titular Others, which refers to enemy players. Every mission down to the surface is essentially a multiplayer session, with other Adams all spawning into a city to collect the best loot. It doesn’t take long to realise that escaping with your life is pretty unlikely if you don’t retreat almost as soon as you spawn in, and thus begins the loop of extraction fun. I can’t say I have much experience in the “Extraction” genre of multiplayer games, but one thing I discovered pretty quickly is that players are not grouped together by level. This means there will almost certainly be someone on the surface who severely outmatches you, and taking them on in a one-on-one contest would be suicide. The only way you’ll make your way into that Top Dog role is by slowly collecting better loot and levelling up by hiding in the streets and fleeing as much as humanly possible. The non-player enemies aren’t much better either, and will absolutely destroy you if you aren’t prepared. From tiny spiders that charge straight for you to massive hellish centipedes, pretty much anything you encounter in Century City will kill you without a moment’s hesitation, and won’t take long to drain that health bar.

If it was up to me I’d just camp out in my apartment for the rest of my miserable existence, but our boy Adam needs blood. Not content with just caring for one orphaned bonsai, as you progress through the game you’ll end up with a sizable selection of plants that are well worth caring for. This is because plants in Hell is Others grow bullets, and the ones you cultivate in your own home come with special properties like the ability to bounce off walls. If plant life doesn’t get your motor running, then maybe home decoration will. Like a miserable and terrifying version of Animal Crossing, Hell is Others allows you to customise your apartment with soft furnishings found on your adventure. This might sound a bit silly, but different decor give you different stat points for Adam when out of the tower block and is well worth investing in. Hell is Others is an interesting and thematically interesting multiplayer game, but with less than perfect controls and massively punishing gameplay it’s one that I’d struggle to recommend. If you have a healthy chunk of patience and like the sound of making the perfect loadout to kill newcomers then you’ll probably have a blast, but otherwise it’s just a little lacking. But what if enhancing your crops yielded bigger, better results? By adding fertilizers, you can create a wide range of bullet-producing plants. Grow more powerful ammo, add unique features like bouncing bullets or silent varieties. The possibilities are endless Customize Adam’s apartment with new objects and appliances to convert the tiny apartment into a comfortable fortress. Besides simple decoration, every item has added benefits or perks for Adam while he is down in Century City trying to survive. The balance and matchmaking are atrocious. Gameplay is fun and makes you want to keep trying until you encounter any other player. The “level” system is pointless. Whereas in most games levels indicate experience and therefore give players the opportunity to compete against other players with similar experience, in this game it’s just for snob appeal. Bullets can be crafted with special added effects and only people who are high level can afford to craft them. I am continually being killed by players 2-3 times my level with guns 2-3 times better than mine and they have bullets that are like pictures of the periodic table. I can’t even complete the basic first level quests which allow me to buy guns. This game is on the edge of being an AVGN episode. I will gladly change this review when they fix the game, but I can’t in good conscience watch more people dump money into this company without seeing a real change. I (A completely new player) should not be in a match with a dude running around at mach-10 throwing grenades that do 1000 damage like a drunk driver throwing candy during a Halloween parade. Imagine finally getting money to buy a better gun only to lose it because some mfer decided you don’t get to have any fun today, thus losing all your hard work and progress instantly. I would love to give a positive review but when the main gameplay loop punishes new players this hard I simply can’t. While the core game is wonderfully addicting, the problem is that it is a PvPvE only looter extractor. The cycle of these games are always start off big with a population boom every release or wipe such as for EFT or The Cycle Frontier, or Lost Light, then comes the great divide as time progresses. That divide between hardcore people whom literally make it their life by streaming or are crunching 4-8 hours a day since release/wipe, and everybody else, be it new people or casuals. Later becomes sooner and all the hardcore gamers are at the top tier and just hunting new people or casuals. Even if you put in a lvl 5 or 10 que cap, soon as they go beyond that, you’re going to be facing lvl 20s with purple guns and bullets with +25% Dmg +25% critical hit chance and +turn ratio, able to 3 tap, doing 450 a shot. Not to mention they have 1500Hp and Stam, and you can’t even try to evade as they have hp and stam regen stims. Given the small pool that plays the game, you’re going to likely be put in with a high level once you break beyond the beginner que.

Solo lvl 12 running into a duo of lvl 15’s with both having AR and modified bullets. So what’s happening and going to persist is the top tier people whom did grind from day one will come in full kitted and wait until you hit the elevator button to then hunt you down, even if you evade or do the trick where you hit it, then go to another they can be there with their stims. Even if you try to circle around and take the other one that opened it becomes a mad dash in which they have stims and increased stats-smell, sight, stam regen. Not to mention if you have a decked out place your gun can be even more godly with less recoil, reload speed, etc. So once most people leave it will just be the same high levels fighting each other as is the system of these game in their late cycle. Problem is, in EFT it takes many that play it a few months to get top tier, this kinda game you can do it in under a month. Sadly I see it dying out as it came out at the worst time as well in regards to PVPVE Looter extractors given Marauders just released, new season of The cycle Frontier, Lost Light wipes in nearly a month, and everybody just got a taste of Dark and Darker. Sadly this game I see remaining on the back burner or bottom of the list. While I’m sure this will never happen, what would be cool, even as an experiment mode, is to have a PVE mode where at the start these things are randomized,Items spawns amount ratio compared to normal .5x-.25 (Between half or a fourth of the normal) .

Maybe make it where they only get 50% XP in the end if they are duoing in this PVE mode. What would also be cool to see is of coarse different maps, but also maybe a chance to spawn different events or bosses such as a swarm moving across the map for players to avoid, or maybe Others NPCs with random weapons, and can have them roaming or in a certain sector as a gang. Maybe black giant tentacle void creature that patrols the major city streets and lobs black blobs at people and lashes at them and you have to shoot all its slowly regenerating tentacles off. Once you get to the main body it spawns monsters that specifically target you. I know that’s not what the devs were going for and probably will not, but I truly don’t see it surviving as PVPVE looter extractor. I see the cycle being, releases and is lots of fun for about 1 month, then the hardcore lvl 20 players hunting down everybody else, everybody else leaving, the hardcore players waiting several minutes or ques to get into a game, continuing to play in the same lobby with the same few people. RIP Twas fun, will certainly flip to recommend if they ever made it PVE, but I just don’t see this game lasting beyond a few hundred, if that, people playing it as it be currently. This game also handicaps you in the sense that I have the second level of my apartment fully unlocked, but as I don’t have a door, I can do nothing. I have gone at least a hundred times to both the carpenter and the person at the bottom right, never having been able to even see a door for purchase.

I was going to buy the founders pack, yes 14 in real life dollars, just for a fudging door in game, but it doesn’t even tell you if it comes with a door! It just says 10 furniture items. V-rising, Rust, Ark, etc. All at least allowed all types of gamers to enjoy the experience of choosing PVP or PVE and as a game developer I assume it would make sense, profit wise, to make your game appealing or open to more types of gamers. It’s fine if you’re going for that hardcore, but just understand that’s a small pool of players as, once again, most looter extractor gamers are going to be playing EFT, Marauders, Rust, Lost Light, The cycle Frontier, and when it releases, Dark and Darker. I was under the impression as soon as I hit level 4 every raid would end with a cracked out pipe hittin’ homie doing a naked dash across the map sniffing me out instantly and blasting my hole better than any lover could, losing all my goodies and never making progress. This was not the case – every once in a while a Chinese dude with a smart smg from Cyberpunk will show up and yeah there’s no escape but I did get him to 3/4 health before I died using the starter pistol and free junk ammo with base stats (as I’m rushing quests instead of focusing on myself so I can get more storage). Its not SUPER impossible to kill people higher level than you. I shot some level 15 dude in the back with a sniper and blew his spine out at level 5, scooped his goodies and ran. Are there inevitable unavoidable deaths? Yeah, of course. Is it the majority of your game time? Probably not, depends how much lootin’ and scootin’ you doin’.
