Maybe once I finish I’ll change my review but the first few hours are the most important right? So, we start with an ok loop animation to start off the game, wasn’t bad I guess I can’t complain since it was animated could always be just a CG. Gives us a little look into the character. But issues begin, we basically are shown an introvert who apparently was a slut before? Ok that’s fine, but protagonist’s personality feels… empty and I know the game is in first person narrative but, the protagonist makes themselves a super pervert while I would say they are vanilla and from her descriptions of her past self I would assume that it’s a strong person! But no… easily gets persuadded on everything and has no strong opinion, guess it’s all an exagerration. But whatev, can’t look into someone else’s mind. Next thing is art – sure looks good graphically but… in some cases the characters were unnessesairly twisted around? Why? There would be some really good shots if not for that weird twisting of bodies to show off a boob or two, for me, a bad pick. Text – in some cases, wrong person is saying wrong text (could notice thanks to VA but also the text wouldn’t make much sense with the contecst either) VA – sometimes you hear a voice actress and most of the time it’s silence, why even bother then? Also sex sounds, moans or any ambient for scenes would be better than few randomly read out lines in middle of normal conversation. Scenes themselves… I don’t know if it was a budget cut, a first attempt, lack of time or what, but not only do protagonist finish seems like a minute after starting but also all other participants were satisfied with just a 5 minute fuck of their lives? What’s the hurry?

AMAZING STORY.

Why are scenes cut so short? Why those super perverts bust one nut and go away? And that nut was super quick too. Generally the length of scenes was very short, makes me wonder how some Japs make them so long that 20 minutes of reading is not enough to finish them. And the choices in story at this point were unnessesary, some don’t seem to make a big difference while some will give a bad end I guess? I just started getting in VNs thanks to some really good ones so I picked this one out of curiosity, I’ll try to finish it but after 1 and a half of storyline I’m really bored, pick it if you want to see a girl with a dick (not even balls) who is vanilla I guess? quick fap if you have low requirements but for a connaisseur or people with singular tastes… this will be really boring. I dig the artwork, it looks pretty good but there is so little of it in the game and if you combine it with the lack of story (pretty shallow to none) the game feels barren. You just wait for the next new artwork which you need to go through some random long dialogue just to setup the next sex scene which in most cases is only 2 renders (1 of the sex position and the second is the same just layered with cum), feels unrewarding. Overall the game had potential, could be better if was shorter with the same amount of artwork, or with the same length but with much more of it. Art, story, and characters are full of detail and depth. Art is well drawn out. Love the animation style is really embellishes the natural beauty and suppleness of the character’s features. By far one of the best futa/transition H-games I’ve played. Complimented with full story, good voice acting, and opportunities to steer the path Emily takes in the story. For a H-game I highly appreciate animated scenes and while this game has great animated scenes I wish they were more common if not in all scenes. I found they were at most like 4-5 animated scenes throughout the story which is disappointing. They should of been much more prevalent at every scene. Since this is a nukkage or w/e (porn for porn) its Average it almost reaches above average thanks to pretty decent writting +handling in MAIN routes… But then the extra routes fall bad (choices are at times totally fail like said no each time still have sex or said no once at end yet still got sex+good end and hard to tell where exactly they suppose to be taking place in timeline as each seems to be based on a route continuation but is not) It was very close to being a 4 for VNs in general even not just porn vn, but lack of controls on top of the more important fact that it is just porn for porn when it could have easily been more, I mean it camm so close to being porn with short stories, but it just sex yes/no sex scene excluding ones forced Art is… decent. The bosses face looks like trash in half her scenes, everyone else is fine, but no one is amazing. Its ‘animated’ but the praise you see for animations is confusing, its barely animated, and the most animated scene is literally 5 seconds in.

Nothing else is animated on that level, if at all. Essentially you pick a girl you want to fuck then just listen to a lot of talk from the MC about how she’s worried about her magnum dong being noticed as she’s pretty submissive and lacks the literal balls (the futa here are cock and vag only) to just whip it out. Then you get 2 choices; A and B. A is ‘do the thing that leads to sex’. Pick them all, you get the good end. Since the MC is submissive, its basically always ‘go with the flow defined by the other character’. B is ‘blueball yourself’. Presumably picking all of these is a bad end. Picking mostly a and a B is an okay end. ‘we’re friends’ level. Clover is a futa with a dick that’s bigger than yours in half the scenes and smaller in the other half with no consistency. Rachael is the dom… but even if you are into that you have a good chance of not liking her. She’s an aggresive stalker who breaks into your house to force herself on you, keeps tabs on what you do out of work and openly talks about ‘breaking’ you while mentioning she’s done it tons of times implying she won’t even stick around after. A futa protaganist based work,. which in and of itself is rare. The game is a visual novel based one and centres around ‘routes’. You pick a girl and play her storyline, making choices which lead to various endings, like a good ending or a neutral ending etc. Each girl is different and has a variety of kinks, so you have a casual sex girl, a girl that dominates you, a girl that has a cock like you, a girl who just wants to have sex parties, a camgirl and my favourite: A girl that likes the rough dominant animalistic sex and really brings the shy protaganist out of her shell!  Very well done drawings almost indistinguishable from top studio anime/hentai producers, some of the scenes are animated as well and the same quality is apparent!  It’s okay, shy, embarrassed protaganist with a girl cock hangs with various girls who do things to her to get her to be more confident, moral wise I suppose that’s nice. Let’s face it, most (not all) are not in it for the story. It does take a WTF turn at the end though and I hope that doesn’t destroy the narrative, I get that as a dev you sometimes are very imaginative and there is so much you can add but one thing I’ve learned is not to go too far with it, sometimes it can get ridiculous! Better would be more choice with differences in either the actual scene and animation used OR as some do: a change in dialogue I haven’t noticed a completed tag yet [1.0] so I assume there is more to add, indeed there are a few scenes that can be animated and Kate’s storyline (best one in my opinion) needs a bit more done.

Overall a top tier game that needs only a little more polish in terms of length and scenes and it can become a brilliant well replayed game. One can’t help but be curious with a title like that, can they? It’s certainly fun to say, and it’s the kind of title that would certainly get you some funny looks when your Steam account tells your friends that you are playing it… not that I’m speaking from experience or anything. I point out this title because it’s something that certainly catches one’s eye, and I think that at least contributed slightly to this game’s high sales figures. Yes, you read that correctly. It is worth mentioning that Futa Fix is a western developed visual novel. Futa Fix is the first game developed by Cyberframe studios, a hentai animation studio working with publishers Kupaa Studios and Critical Bliss, both of whom also specialize in nukige. I decided to check out this title on a whim because you don’t see many futanari based titles on Steam. The only other title that comes up when searching “Futa” on Steam is Futanari Quest, and that just links to its Nutaku page despite the fact that it’s not even on that platform anymore either. But yeah, I remember the days when Kindred Spirits on the Roof making it onto Steam uncensored was considered noteworthy, and now we have games like this making it on uncensored.

It is because of this that I was pleased to see that Futa Fix actually subverted the usual formula by having the main character Emily be a cis woman who magically grows an enormous cock without any explanation. This ends up spiking her libido to a ridiculous extent where she cannot even look at her female co-workers without getting horny and needing to masturbate. This in turn leads to her becoming socially withdrawn and spending all her time at home binging on hentai and eroge to relieve her uncontrollable sexual desires. This was a very interesting setup because it humanizes Emily as a character and helps the player fit in her shoes. Hell this setup can be relatable to any trans woman who is afraid to socialize with other people out of fear of being perceived as some sort of freak or outsider. There are even a few scenes that imply Emily carries a bunch of self hatred towards herself and questions her validity as a woman because of her newfound genitalia. But I don’t think any of us are expecting Futa Fix Dick Dine & Dash to be some sort of emotionally charged narrative about living in a world that isn’t made for you. It is, instead, about Emily ending up in as much lesbian hi jinks as possible. And yes, despite what any transphobes may tell you, Futa Fix IS, in fact, a yuri title. Anther major issue I have with a lot futa hentai is that it feels like it’s a cop out for cis men and lesbians to fap to trans porn without admitting that trans women are women.

while at the same time pretending that their claims that futanari can’t be yuri isn’t transphobic because “they aren’t technically trans.” This is what happens when people think that inserting a minority stereotype into a work then saying the character isn’t actually part of that minority means we won’t notice their bullshit. This is known colloquially as the “Mudflap defense.” Futa Fix IS, in fact, an all female nukige, and you can’t even use transphobic horseshit as an argument against this because Emily is literally a cis woman, but is is a rather atypical yuri title. I’d actually describe Futa Fix’s sex scenes as “half-way” between that of a typical yuri eroge and a standard cishet eroge; IE Futa Fix does have some of that messy, exaggerated direction that I described a lot of cishet eroge as having, but while also having some of the more soft, and sensual aspects of yuri eroge. It should be noted that both of these are generalizations of their genre rather than requirements, which is why I still consider Futa Fix a yuri title. One thing that I really need to give credit to Futa Fix for, is the fact that its sex scenes were pretty fucking good. Yes, that should be a requirement for a hentai game, but a number of hentai games out there have absolute shit writing that does fuck all to set any sort of mood or invoke arousal. I’ve lost count of the number of eroge I’ve played where sex scene dialogue consists of several lines of transcribed sound effects and screaming out what is happening to them as if we can’t see what’s going on, and I am absolutely grateful that Futa Fix decided to put some actual fucking effort into its writing. I also thought each of the routes were not only sexy as hell, but they were also genuinely enjoyable from a character and story perspective. That’s not to say that this game is some sort of masterwork in story telling, but it was enough that I felt genuinely engaged as I got to know these characters. I also liked how the sex scenes actually felt like part of the story and felt like they occurred naturally as opposed to them being there for the sake of being there. Celestian Tales Switch NSP
