In Dead Matter, you are dropped into an open world, with the goal of survival. Skin wild animals for meat and leather, making sure none of the animal goes to waste. Kill zombies before they kill you. Dead Matter comes with a generous amount of weapons, and the details on the weapons are very high quality. The zombies and character movement are still very rough, which detracts from the game, but it is alpha so these will likely become more polished over time. Zombies have the ability to leap at you from any direction, which makes battles against them a bit more intense. You can use vehicles to help move around, but don’t get used to it. In future releases the vehicles will not spawn into the world in working condition. If you want a ride, you’ll have to fix it first. In order to make the game more interesting, the developers have given the player a lot of different stats. Hydration, hunger, health, and other stats all drive you to find food, water and shelter. A unique aspect of the game is an adrenaline boost when in combat situations, which gives you a bit more ability to fight zombies when in combat. This is a nice touch of realism in an already generously realistic game. This is a very exciting zombie game for those who like horror and open world exploration. The many details available in the game allow hours of entertainment as you defend yourself from zombies and try to survive in a post-apocolyptic world. These amazing benefits are tempered however, by the bugs common in alphas, and the silence of the developers even when critical bugs are happening. If the game is ever polished enough to be a finished piece, it would definitely score higher. The player will have to find and protect their home from external threats using an extensive system of crafting and barricades, process and harvest crops from the ground or expand, also explore and collect any vehicles, weapons and food that can be found in the tormented zombie Calgary – alone or with friends. The game has a network game mode, with players you can exchange items with which you can create weapons and equipment. Crafting your own gear and upgrades is a natural extension of the skills of a real survivor. For greater reality, the game has a change of day and night.
