The developers Blackbird Interactive have really made an (almost) spot on with Crossfire Legion. If there’s something to complain about, it’s more because we’re looking for something and nothing catches our eye. Okay, admittedly, we did notice various bugs, such as the sound settings. These cannot be applied to the game at all, we have to turn down the sound on our PC, Windows, because otherwise the boxes would kill us. Then there is another point, and that is the engine itself, which is currently not able to conjure large amounts of units onto the screen. Here we get strong frame drops, around 45 fps, which clearly disturbs the otherwise smooth game flow. Hopefully there will be a patch here, because it’s really hard on the eyes and the mind in places. The game cannot be paused either, so it would be better for us to go to the toilet before a game, because in a game this is only possible with losses. Too bad, because this feature should definitely not be missing in Crossfire Legion, especially if you only play against the AI. The graphics are contemporary, but don’t expect miracles, the whole thing is displayed with the Unity Engine.
