60 Parsecs! is a survival simulation title such as its older sibling 60 Seconds! previously reviewed by Jamie (Hi – ed). Both of these titles were developed by Robot Gentleman but 60 Parsecs! takes the series for a much more complex spin with its new space environment, exploration and crafting systems and many more decisions to make. The game begins with an introduction and a quick tutorial to set you off in the right direction. In 60 Seconds! you had only your immediate family members to take with you into your shelter. In 60 Parsecs! you get to choose between 4 out of 6 crew members to save. Choose wisely though because each member has their own stats and skill specialties. For instance, in the beginning you get the choice between two of the starter captains of the Astro citizens program. Emmet is a brainy scientist who can help in dire situations and can earn you more resources, and on the other spectrum there’s Dee Dee who excels in agility and has a boost where her hunger meter decays slower than usual. Each crew member can help you receive extra items and resources from choices and expeditions you make throughout the game. There are three game modes to choose from; Survival, Voyager, Mission. In Survival you are giving everything up to chance. This includes a randomly generated crew and supplies provided on your ship. Voyager is the traditional game mode where you are given 60 seconds to gather whatever your hands can carry from crew members, food, or other materials and resources. Once time is up you hop in your shuttle and take off as your space stations explode leaving everything you left behind destroyed.Unfitgirl.COM SEXY GAMES

In Mission mode you’re given various challenges to complete as you survive on your ship. After every playthrough the layout and types of items and materials are changed too making it harder to gather the supplies you need. Your two main goals once you hit Survival and Voyager mode are to find a planet for you and your crew to inhabit and just survive. If you’re lucky, more opportunities will reveal themselves later on in the game. Throughout the game you must go through various sets of decisions you have to make each and every passing day. In 60 Parsecs! a new crafting mechanic is introduced. You now have the ability to craft helpful items each day as well as making your decisions. They’re not required everyday like making decisions but it’s helpful to take advantage of crafting when you’re able too. Whenever you can I’d recommend making soup. Trust me on this one. You’re going to need it. To make any items from the crafting station it’s going to cost either chemicals, minerals, or energy. Some of these items can’t be crafted without an upgraded crafting station so that’s something you also have to consider to invest in. Once you reach a planet to land on you will also gain the option to send out one of your crew mates to go on an expedition. Keep in mind once you send somebody out there they’re completely unavailable for a couple of days until they return. On the plus side, you don’t have to worry about feeding them. I would have loved to be able to control the characters or at least see them on their expeditions. I felt that that was such a missed opportunity, especially considering there’s multiple areas you can send your crew members off to.

60 Parsecs! Scavenge & Evacuvate.

For a game that revolves around making one decision everyday, the situations that you encounter seem very repetitive. Each playthrough can go a different way depending on what items and crew members you bring with you but the scenarios you encounter just keep on repeating. Considering the game is meant for short playthroughs this tends to get annoying fast. Keeping in mind that this is the core gameplay, entertainment value also deters with each passing playthrough. In 60 Parsecs! you take control of a crew member of a space station that is watching nuclear fallout wipe out the world. That disbelief turns to panic though as a missile heads straight towards the station you are on. Now with only 60 seconds to collect your things, you must gather soup, crewmates, and important items that’ll help you survive.  This is the briefest portion of the game but it helps set up the rest of the playthrough. You’ll choose one character to play as and there will be five more scattered around the ship, three of which you can choose to accompany you. Of course, you could opt to only grab one or two other crewmates and focus on supplies, or even make the game a solo excursion. Once the game starts you get some time to scope out the ship and pick up resources before the timer actually starts. I learned that it’s best practice to try and find resources as far away as possible, grab them, and get back to the shuttle you’ll be taking to escape the blast. This way once the timer actually starts you can drop them off and start grabbing whatever is closest. Once the clock strikes zero you better be by the shuttle so the real game can begin. At this point it’s up to you to manage resources, deal with different situations as they arise, and prevent your crew from meeting an untimely end.Umbrella Corps

Each character will have a summary of their status including mental health, physical health, morale, and of course hunger. Characters also have defined personalities and designs that really showcase what their aptitudes are. The more you play with a certain character the more you learn about them, and it helps to immerse yourself in the wackiness of the world. Manage to survive long enough by rationing food and avoiding suspicious cheese and death robots, and you’ll eventually make it to one of three planets. From there you will deal with all kinds of wacky happenings – some of which will lead to your survival, others which may lead to deadly, deadly radiation poisoning. But thankfully the outcomes aren’t completely random. Each event you run across will require a skill check that is based on the stats of a member of your crew or will require the use of an item. There is usually more than one way to deal with a problem, which gives a good sense of freedom. Sometimes it feels like things shouldn’t have happened the way they do, but thankfully that’s not a feeling I got a lot while playing. Beyond all of that, the last big thing you’ll be taking care of are the expeditions. Once you make it to a planet, it’s possible to send one crewmate out on an expedition. There will be multiple locations to choose from where you have a chance to find resources and items. You’ll see what items you might find and how long the journey will take, so if you’re really desperate for food or items you can pick a shorter trip. Overall 60 Parsecs! is a massive improvement to the prior game, 60 Seconds! Reatomized. The UI is easier to navigate, there is more information available, and all of the mechanics are just more refined. Character issues like hunger and health can be taken care of easily so long as you have the resources.

Survive & Decide.

If someone isn’t feeling well then the game makes sure to tell you what is wrong so you can attend to it. Like it’s predecessor, 60 Parsecs! features special challenge stories to play through. The first few that are unlocked range from curing a deadly space virus to uncovering the truth of an intergalactic cult that worships cows. As someone who lives in the midwest of the United States, specifically Wisconsin which happens to be the dairy capital of the country, that last one spoke to me a little more than it should’ve. But I digress. Each of these missions will have different criteria and challenges to overcome, and completing enough of these missions will unlock more. One playthrough can take an hour or even more depending on how invested you are in the lore and how much thought you put into each decision. This makes it incredibly easy to sink a ton of time into the game in just a few playthroughs. In my time with the game, I’ve managed to complete a good few missions and even survive through a couple of randomly generated endings. I’ve also managed to starve to death in space, get murdered by robots, and succumb to unknown diseases. Hell, I even managed to find love, but there is so much more to experience. Developed by Robot Gentlemen 60 Parsecs is a strategic, survival game based around one thrilling factor. The planet is about to blow and you have one minute to prepare before it does! Can you get enough supplies for the loyal team you lead? That’s what we needed to know and this is our review and what we discovered (or did not discover in many cases!) Before we go any further, look at that incredible artwork! Bold, vintage cartoon artistry that captured my attention in less than 60 seconds urging me to jump on in and play! 60 Parsecs is based off its predecessor 60 Seconds where you are surviving in a nuclear bunker.Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

The difference between these two is that in 60 parsecs you go into space and get to explore other planets while hopefully getting the opportunity to find the transmission to return home. There are five characters available to choose from as your leading man/woman. Each one has different stats but the strongest are Deedee Dawkins and Emmett Ellis as they both have a stat that is 3 points Deedee’s being agility and Emmett’s being Intelligence. I played these two as well as Baby Bronco, Meagan Mann and Tom Thomson. Emmett has turned out to be the leader I appreciate most though so far we’ve only reached level 44 in this short amount of time. The key to great outer space success is that mad dash at the beginning leading to successful launch. I blew up countless times before this occurred and only managed to have one of everything plus fully stocked soup once. So far I’ve also found 3 crew members work better than having them all. More soup for YOU! What’s more interesting though is that every time I have started a new game the 60-second dash layout has been, different as well as the tasks given to you onboard. Speaking of tasks. Once you have chosen your crew you start your first day on board directed by the ships AI, who points out your daily task console in the center of the ship. There is also a crafting console to the back left and the space suit should you land on another planet and need to send members of your crew on exploration to the right. Everything else of worthy note in this small space is what you pick up on your 60-second dash. Each day, as the captain of the ship your responsibility, is to ensure everyone’s health, when they are hungry, plus assign tasks.

Explore & Craft.

Every decision you make has consequence, how much soup you have is the make or break. At time’s the game feels more like a simulator than a survival game. I have yet to get beyond 44 days as I write this but I am told by reliable sources that there various happy endings or even more intriguing dooms besides death by no soup, including space pirate domination. SPACE PIRATES! To be fair, being taken by Space Pirates sounds exciting more than horrible! We are doomed. Atomic Space Age was a blast! Until it became the Post-Apocalyptic Space Age. Your space station is about to explode and you only have 60 seconds before things get messy. What (or who) will you grab before you make a mad dash for the emergency shuttle and begin your journey into THE GREAT UNKNOWN? This is 60 Parsecs!, a dark comedy sci-fi adventure set in the Atomic Space Age – complete with all the Cold War paranoia, chrome-plated wall accents and cockroaches with space helmets. Lead a crew of woefully unprepared astronauts, equipped with whatever junk – sorry – “supplies” you can grab before blasting off, on a journey across the cosmos that’s best described as misguided. Make the best of it, while dealing with soup shortages and other horrors of outer space. Will you have what it takes to find a new home and survive? With only 60 seconds before nukes reduce the space station to floating particles in the vacuum of space, frantically grab whatever supplies and crew you can before getting out of there. You never know when that sock puppet will come in handy.

Space funerals are inconvenient, so try to avoid dying where possible. Use your limited supplies and (hopefully not limited) wits to make difficult choices and ensure your survival, even though the odds are definitely stacked against you.  Duct tape fixes all problems, but how do you fix (or at least craft) duct tape? Chart expeditions to find resources, craft survival essentials and explore strange new worlds in a procedural, very-much-permadeath adventure. As captain, it’s your duty to keep the crew happy – they’re less likely to kill you that way. Manage relationships as you watch them grow closer and hopefully not throw each other out the airlock. It’s been more than 3 years since the independent studio Robot Gentleman launched 60 Seconds! , a game that mixed management, survival, graphic adventure and a time limit to offer a result that managed to please thousands of fans around the world. Now, several years later and with the lesson well learned from this work, comes the second installment of the 60 franchise , 60 Parsecs! , which moves the action beyond the limits of our planet. It is the same team, Robot Gentleman , that is in charge of developing and editing the video game, so after several years receiving feedback and with all the hits and misses on the table, they present this sequel to the world. But does he manage to offer the same level of fun by keeping his proposal fresh, or will it weigh on him with the passage of time? If you want to find out, we invite you to join us in our analysis of 60 Parsecs!

Roughly speaking, 60 Parsecs! It is a full-fledged sequel , since it takes the playable base of its predecessor and avoids making drastic changes that could modify the experience excessively. In this sense, we find ourselves with a relatively conservative work that follows in the wake of the success of 60 Seconds! Through this new adventure, once again, we find ourselves with a mixture of survival, management and graphic adventure that comes seasoned with a time limit to give a constant feeling of haste. The premises are very simple. A collision with an asteroid is going to destroy the place where we live and we have one minute to collect all the resources and people that we want or can and take them with us in the evacuation capsule. And once we enter the capsule, there is no going back, here begins a space odyssey in which, making use of these resources that we carry with us and our crew, we must try to manage to survive the trip and find a place to continue with our lives. However, as it is easy to suppose, saying it is much easier than doing it, and it is that 60 Parsecs! It’s a tough game that doesn’t forgive anything and that practically punishes every mistake with the death, if not of our character, at least of one of our crew members. The playable core of the work is basically a classic text adventure in which we hardly do anything other than read and choose between different options. As the work progresses, we are presented with different situations that we must face by making the decision to use one object or another and taking advantage of the skills of the crew members. Along with this we find the possibility of crafting some objects that help us prosper and satisfy the hunger, madness or wounds of the characters.DEVOUR
